Black Box presents Staged Reading of "The Goat" by Edward Albee 
(TEANECK, NJ) -- In association with The Estate of Edward Albee, Black Box presents a staged reading of Edward Albee's The Goat (2002) on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at Debonair Music Hall. Admission is free. Showtime is 7:30pm. The play won the Drama Desk Award for Best New Play 2002 and the Tony Award for Best Play 2002.
Ferrell Studios presents "Tick, Tick... BOOM!" at Mignolo Arts Center 
(METUCHEN, NJ) -- Ferrell Studios presents Tick, Tick... BOOM! at Mignolo Arts Center from February 14-16, 2025. Tick, Tick... BOOM! is a musical created by late composer, Jonathan Larson (Rent). It is an autobiographical drama that follows Jon's life as a struggling musical theatre composer living in New York City in 1990.
Wharton Community Players presents "The Moors"

It is the New Jersey release of Rodríguez's dynamic new album, "I'm Pete Rodríguez, Vol. 1" which was recently named one of the Best of 2024 by the New York City Jazz Record. The powerhouse band will feature Rodríguez on trumpet, Jon Beshay on woodwinds, Silvano Monasterios on piano and Rudy Royston on drums.

New Release Review - "The Order" 
If you've seen Oliver Stone's 1988 film Talk Radio you'll be tangentially aware of one of the subplots within Justin Kurzel's true crime thriller The Order. Stone's film was inspired by the story of Alan Berg, a Jewish radio talk show host who was targeted by a neo-Nazi group known as "The Order." As played by Marc Maron, Berg's voice is the first we hear in Kurzel's film, his words drawing the ire of a couple of white supremacists taking an ominous late night drive.
