(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- The Morris Educational Foundation (MEF) has announced the 16 acts that will perform in the 18th annual Morristown ONSTAGE fundraising event. Featuring the best amateur talent from Morristown, Morris Plains and Morris Township, the show will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at the Mayo Performing Arts Center (MPAC).
A community staple for 17 years, Morristown ONSTAGE brings people of all ages together to celebrate and discover unique local talent all to benefit the Morris School District and support public education. This year’s event will feature 16 amazing acts comprised of District students, residents, employees and individuals in and around town.
“Morristown ONSTAGE auditions were extremely competitive this year, with over 70 acts vying for a spot in the 2025 show,” said Chris Volinsky, co-chair of the Morristown ONSTAGE committee and current Morris Educational Foundation Board of Trustee. “We certainly had our work cut out for us, but in the end, we selected an amazing group of finalists who will shine on the Mayo Performing Arts Center stage on March 4.”

As in years past, the finalists will compete for one of two 1st place $1,000 cash prizes – one for contestants ages 19 and over and one for contestants ages 18 and under. Additionally, $500 will be awarded to the “Audience Choice” Winner, which is a “text-to-vote” at the end of the show, and a $250 Rossoff Rising Star Award for talent training chosen by the Morristown ONSTAGE Steering Committee.

Atlantic Health System’s Morristown Medical Center has once again signed on to be the event’s Headline Sponsor and a panel of distinguished arts and entertainment professionals will judge the competition. Emmy award winner, Tara Bernie, a Morristown resident and owner/founder of TB Yoga House will return for her 11th year as host. Joining her as co-hosts this year will be Morris School District students.
Morristown ONSTAGE was created to further the Morris Educational Foundation’s ability to distribute financial and other resources to and for the Morris School District for enrichment programs and other projects. Since the show’s inception, the event has raised over $1.6 million to benefit the Morris School District.
