GlassRoots Announces Re-Design of Custom Glass Awards Made By Hand In Newark

originally published: 11/22/2024

(NEWARK, NJ) -- Newark's Glass Art Center, GlassRoots, prides itself on their glass awards made by hand right here in downtown Newark! This year alone, they have created custom glass awards for dozens of clients including NJPAC, Rutgers Law, Harvard University, NJ Symphony, Horizon, The Newark Museum of Art and Honeywell, among others.

At least four GlassRoots artists have a hand in creating each award ensuring no two glass awards are the same. In addition, each award purchased supports their thriving afterschool programs for local Newark youth! Therefore, each order is both a gift of recognition and a gift of enrichment for the young people in our community.

Glassroots is proud to announce their new Hero Plate. A new redesign conceived by their studio artists, the reimagined Hero Plate comes to life in their glassblowing studio and is then shaped, polished and etched by hand with your company or organization's message.

Keep their handmade glass awards in mind as you plan to recognize a valued employee, retiree, partner, or volunteer in your community this holiday season and beyond! Inquire about their custom glass awards at [email protected] and mention "New Hero" for a 10% discount on your first order.
