Sharper Speech and LoMotion Live presents "A Night of Stars" on December 7th

originally published: 11/14/2024

(BOONTON, NJ) -- Last winter, Sharper Speech and LoMotion Live joined forces to present a cabaret like no other at the Parsippany Arts Center. The event received rave reviews and left the audience moved—many with not a dry eye in the house. The two will present their second "A Night of Stars" on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at the Parsippany Arts Center. Showtime is 7:00pm.

This unforgettable evening celebrates the incredible talents of men and women with intellectual disabilities who share a passion for performing. It’s one of LoMotion Live's favorite events of the season, and they’re thrilled to be partnering with Sharper Speech once again to bring their inspiring performances to the stage.

Tickets are available for purchase online for $11.20. Tickets will also be available at the door (cash or check only) or by calling 973-997-0148. The Parsippany Arts Center is located at 1130 Knoll Road in Boonton, New Jersey.

Lauren Moran and Keri Sharpe

LoMotion Live, a performance space in residence at the Parsippany Arts Center, is dedicated to providing a creative sanctuary for individuals at all stages of life. It offers a space to explore, create, and grow—a place to momentarily step away from the everyday and embrace the transformative power of art. It’s truly an Artist’s Playground and a safe haven for self-expression. Lauren Moran is the artistic producing director of LoMotion Live, a theatre dedicated to creating conversation through theatre and the art.

Sharper Speech, founded by licensed speech-language pathologist Keri Sharpe, offers speech-language therapy services, social communication groups and community outings for adults of all abilities. Keri was inspired by her twin brother Brian to utilize her platform to create more opportunities for adults with disabilities to socialize and engage with their community in a functional and meaningful way. She aims to build bridges with local organizations to foster understanding, advocacy and inclusion for individuals with different neurological profiles.
