Lewis Center for the Arts' Program in Theater & Music Theater presents "A Life Worth Living"
 

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- The Lewis Center for the Arts' Program in Theater and Music Theater at Princeton University presents A Life Worth Living, a new dramatic-comedy musical by Princeton senior Jeffery Chen. Performance take place November 8-9 and November 14-16, 2024 in the Wallace Theater at the Lewis Arts complex on the Princeton campus.

Scholarship Winners to Perform at November Jersey Jazz LIVE! Concert in Madison
 

(MADISON, NJ) -- The New Jersey Jazz Society's 2024 Scholarship Winners -- pianist Lasse Corson, saxophonist Joseph Foglia, saxophonist Isaac Yi, and trumpeter Gabriel Chalick -- will perform at the Jersey Jazz LIVE! concert in Madison on Sunday, November 3, 2024. They will be joined by four veteran professionals -- guitarist/music director David O'Rourke, bassist Mary Ann McSweeney, drummer Alvester Garnett, and tenor saxophonist/flutist Don Braden.

Rock On! This Week's Sound Bites...10/24/24
 

"Just a couple of changes," states Otis front man Boone Froggett, "When the pandemic hit, we only got to play maybe seven shows in 2020 and our original drummer decided that he wanted to stay home and do the family thing and our original guitar player decided he wanted to play bass for another rock band. So, that just left myself on vocals and guitar and co-founder John Seeley on bass. So, we brought in Dale Myers on drums and Alex Wells on guitar and started touring again in 2023." 

 



Tyler, The Creator to Plays Shows in Philly/NY/NJ in July
 

(NEWARK, NJ) -- Tyler, The Creator announces a 2025 world tour in support of his forthcoming album CHROMAKOPIA. Promoted by AEG Presents, CHROMAKOPIA: THE WORLD TOUR will feature special guests Lil Yachty and Paris Texas and spans North America, Europe, the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand over the course of 2025. The tour comes to Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on July 5; Madison Square Garden in New York City on July 14; Barclays Center in Brooklyn on July 17; and Prudential Center in Newark on July 27, 2025.

(NEWARK, NJ) -- Hilarious comic René Vaca makes his New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) debut on Thursday, November 7, 2024 for two shows: 7:30pm & 9:45pm. The 28-year-old recently stole the show at the 2024 Netflix Is A Joke Festival, where he was one of a handful of rising stars chosen to perform an "Introducing..." set.

"Tradition" Art Exhibit Accompanies "Fiddler on the Roof" at Axelrod PAC
 

(DEAL PARK, NJ) -- Enjoy an evening filled with "Tradition" in both art and theater as Fiddler on the Roof is presented at the Axelrod Performing Arts Center, accompanied by a related art exhibit in the venue's Gallery on Grant. The exhibit, which runs through January 2025, consists of seven artists and one photographer and gives homage to the musical. Art Director Randye Krupnick curated this exhibit to mirror the storyline in Fiddler. Visitors will witness themes of life in Lithuania, cycles of seasons, cycles of life, photos of Israel and modern Op-Art created by an artist with Ukrainian roots.
