Superstar soprano Angel Blue opened the 2024 Princeton Festival with favorite opera arias and songs by Gershwin and Arlen.
(PRINCETON, NJ) -- The Princeton Festival kicked off its 2024 season with the Two-time GRAMMY Award®-winning soprano Angel Blue on Friday, June 7, 2024. Large crowds gathered for all events which included Angel Blue with the Princeton Symphony Orchestra, the Music of Tina Turner, Sunday morning Yoga in the Garden, and Family Day with kid-friendly activities and an engaging performance by Sonia De Los Santos.

Vocalists LaKisha Jones, Nova Y. Payton, and Matthew Johnson premiered The Music of Tina Turner in front of a full house at the Princeton Festival with Lucas Waldin conducting the Princeton Symphony Orchestra.
Cellist Georgia Bourderionnet, attired in lululemon, accompanied the Princeton Festival’s free outdoor yoga class guided by Gratitude Yoga instructor Gemma Farrell at Morven Museum & Garden. The next class is on Sunday, June 16, with harpist Jacqueline Kerrod and instructor Daphne Lyon.
Princeton Symphony Orchestra principal trumpet Jerry Bryant assisted a budding musician at the PSO BRAVO! instrument petting zoo held during the Princeton Festival’s Family Day which included a student art exhibit, a conducting booth, and free treats from Chez Alice.
Sonia De Los Santos, vocals and guitar, and bandmates Berta Moreno, saxophone and clarinet, and Ludovica Burtone, violin, engaged an enthusiastic audience of families eager to sing along and move to De Los Santos’ original bi-lingual songs.
