Dragonfly Multicultural Arts Center Presents Heart-Pounding Thriller "Wait Until Dark"

(PLAINFIELD, NJ) -- Dragonfly Multicultural Arts Center, in residence at duCret Center of Art, presents a gripping production of the classic thriller Wait Until Dark by Frederick Knott from May 17-19, 2024. In a new adaptation by Jeffrey Hatcher, this adrenaline-fueled theatrical experience promises to keep audiences on the edge of their seats from start to finish.

Set in a Greenwich Village apartment in the 1940s, Wait Until Dark follows the story of Susan Hendrix, a blind woman who becomes the unwitting target of a group of cunning con men searching for a valuable doll. As the suspense builds and the stakes rise, Susan must rely on her wits and instincts to outsmart her ruthless adversaries and survive a deadly game of cat and mouse.

Wait Until Dark features Ash Baeck-Hubloux as Susan and Anil Joseph as the sadistic leader of the con men. The cast is rounded out by Milan Rene, Jacob Turchi, Dion Moore, and Raul Ortega. Audiences can expect a rollercoaster of emotions as they are taken on a thrilling journey filled with twists, turns, and unexpected revelations.
