The 2024 Adelphi Young Artist Competition Is Accepting Applications (RIVER EDGE, NJ) -- The 2024 Adelphi Young Artist Competition is open to Strings, woodwinds, and piano of any nationality up to age 23. The 2024 first-place winner will perform with the Adelphi Orchestra during the 2024-25 Season. Plainfield Local Takes First and Best Overall at WNPF's Worlds Edward Dawson Jr.'s boxing career began in 2006 at the Plainfield Boxing Academy in Plainfield, New Jersey. Edward was just nine years old. He would spend the next nine years gathering titles such as a 2x Diamond Glove Champion, a 2x Silver Glove Champion, a 2x State Champion, and would eventually qualify for the 2010 Junior Regional Olympics, where he placed fourth.
