(CAMDEN, NJ) -- Music legends Earth, Wind & Fire and Chicago, two of the most successful and critically-acclaimed bands of all time, have announced the return of their renowned co-headlining tour across North America – Heart & Soul 2024 Tour. The Live Nation produced tour brings together the timeless music of Chicago and the iconic catalog of Earth, Wind & Fire for one unforgettable night of music filled with epic sets from each artist that will culminate in an encore performance with both bands on stage together.

The 30-city tour kicks off on July 10 at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in St. Louis, MO making stops in Toronto, ON; Houston, TX; Los Angeles, CA and more before wrapping up in Palm Desert, CA at Acrisure Arena on September 7. Locally, the tour comes to the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Camden on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 and the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel on Saturday, August 3, 2024.

With more than 200 million albums sold, 11 GRAMMY® wins and nearly 30 nominations between them, the tour will continue to provide unparalleled entertainment from two of America’s most legendary musical groups. Billboard hails that Chicago is one of “the most successful American rock band[s] of all time, in terms of both albums and singles” and “been able to fill arenas with satisfied fans” with music that has endured throughout time while Rolling Stone has described Earth, Wind & Fire as “a funk-fusion powerhouse that changed the sound and history of popular music.” In 2016 Chicago was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame; Earth, Wind & Fire was inducted into the Hall in 2000.

Tickets go on sale Friday, November 17 at 10:00am local time at EarthWindAndFire.com and ChicagoTheBand.com

Formed in Chicago, IL in 1967, Chicago is the first American band to chart albums in Billboard’s Pop Top 40 in six consecutive decades, ranking as the highest charting American band in Billboard’s Hot 100 All-Time Top Artists. In their 56 years of existence, Chicago have sold over 100 million records, making them one of the best selling music groups of all time. This “rock and roll band with horns” found success with their original sound of pop and rock fusion, including hits “Make Me Smile,” “25 or 6 to 4,” “Saturday In The Park,” “Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?” and so many more.

An incredible 25 of their 39 albums have been certified platinum, and the band has a total of 48 gol d and platinum awards. Chicago’s lifetime achievements include two Grammy Awards, two American Music Awards, a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, and an induction of its original members into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Additionally, their first record (a double album) was inducted into the Grammy Hall Of Fame, and original band members Robert Lamm and Jimmy Pankow were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Chicago continue to be true ambassadors for their beloved hometown, carrying the city’s name with pride and dignity around the world.

Earth, Wind & Fire are a music institution. In 1969, music legend Maurice White birthed the music force named after the elements from his very own astrological charts. With soul as deep as the planet, Earth, Wind & Fire charted a history that will live on forever. They’ve scored eight number one hits and have sold more than 100 million albums worldwide. They’ve released 23 albums; eight of those albums went Double Platinum and hit the Top 10, making them one of the best-selling artists of all time. They’ve won an impressive nine GRAMMY® Awards including one for Lifetime Achievement (2012). In 2000, Earth, Wind & Fire was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, cementing their lasting impact on popular music and, in 2019, their contributions to arts and culture was acknowledged in Washington DC with the prestigious Kennedy Center Honors.

The music of Earth, Wind & Fire is more alive than ever as they continue to inspire new audiences and thrill those who have been with them from the beginning. Like the elements in their name, Earth, Wind & Fire’s music has withstood ever-changing trends in the world and shows no sign of vanishing as they continue to create joy and uplifting music that will forever reach a sacred universal atmosphere. From the funky and infectious “Let’s Groove” to the timeless dance classic “September” to the heartfelt “Reasons,” Earth, Wind & Fire’s catalog of hits has become the soundtrack to many lives; now, then and forever.
