1) An Interview with Alexandra Jardvall about Springsteen, Endometriosis, and Performing in Asbury Park For The First Time - (ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- Swedish singer-songwriter Alexandra Jardvall will headline the Endo Warrior Benefit Show at Asbury Lanes on Sunday, September 10, 2023.  The music begins at 2:00pm and also includes performances by New Jersey artists Jake Thistle and Chris Fritz. The benefit is presented by Spring-Nuts and will raise awareness and funds for Endometriosis Research and the Endometriosis Foundation of America.

2) Algonquin Arts Theatre presents "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" - (MANASQUAN, NJ) -- Algonquin Arts Theatre has announced the cast and creative team for its October musical, The Hunchback of Notre Dame. The show will run at Algonquin Arts Theatre from October 7-22, 2023. Based on the Victor Hugo novel and songs from the Disney animated feature, The Hunchback of Notre Dame showcases the film's Academy Award-nominated score, plus new songs written for the stage.

3) Newark to Hold Annual Latin Festival on Sunday - (NEWARK, NJ) -- Newark Mayor Ras J. Baraka, Deputy Mayor for Community Engagement Jacqueline Quiles, and the Office of Violence Prevention and Trauma Recovery (OVPTR) will host the Annual Latin Festival on Sunday, August 20, from noon to 10:00pm, on Bloomfield Avenue between Lake Street and Clifton Avenue, in Newark's North Ward. This year's event is being presented as an opportunity for citywide anti-violence organizations to raise awareness for domestic violence prevention, with speakers sharing personal stories of transformation from the stage.

4) Touch A Truck event in Downtown Hammonton on Sunday - (HAMMONTON, NJ) -- The annual outdoor Touch A Truck event will be held on Sunday, August 27, 2023. This free event will take place in Downtown Hammonton from 12:00pm to 4:00pm and is hosted by MainStreet Hammonton and sponsored by Toy Market. Touch A Truck will feature up close encounters with big trucks, construction equipment, tractors and more. There will be interactive games, music and giveaways for children and their families.

Do Portugal Circus is proud to announce its upcoming performances in Staten Island, NY. The show will be held at the Staten Island Mall every day from August 25 - September 3, 2023.

6) The Smashing Pumpkins To Play PNC Bank Arts Center with Interpol and Rival Sons - (HOLMDEL, NJ) -- The Smashing Pumpkins, have announced their 26-date North American The World Is A Vampire Tour. Produced by Live Nation, the tour is set to start on Friday, July 28 at The Chelsea at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. Locally, the tour comes to the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel on Thursday, August 24. They will be supported in Holmdel by Interpol and Rival Sons.

7) Jersey City's Classical Theatre Company to Re-Launch as The Curtain with "Romeo & Juliet" - (JERSEY CITY, NJ) -- Shakespeare@, Jersey City's premier classical theatre, announced they will re-launch as The Curtain, with an all-new production of William Shakespeare’s classic Romeo & Juliet. Directed and Adapted by Sean Hagerty, The Curtain’s Romeo & Juliet will play the Nimbus Arts Center (329 Warren Street), in downtown Jersey City just steps from the PATH train, with performances from September 28 through October 22, 2023.

8) New Jersey Symphony Announces Concert Weekend Consolidation and Workforce Reduction - (NEWARK, NJ) -- The New Jersey Symphony announced that it has made the difficult decision to consolidate its concert program weekends for the upcoming 2023–24 season, which begins this October and continues through June, as part of an overall budget reduction plan. The Symphony has also made the painful decision to undergo a workforce reduction of its administrative staff by 15.4%, through a combination of layoffs and the elimination of open positions. Additionally, retained administrative employees will be required to take furloughs and senior leadership will take salary reductions. The musicians of the orchestra, who recently signed a collective bargaining agreement, will not see changes in compensation or benefits that were previously negotiated.

9) NJPAC Announces Lineup for Horizon Sounds of the City 2023 - (NEWARK, NJ) -- New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) has announced the annual Horizon Sounds of the City 2023, a FREE live summer concert series taking place under the stars during the summer every Thursday Night from July 13 – August 17 from 6:00pm – 9:00pm on the NJPAC Campus at Chambers Plaza.

10) PHOTOS from Umphrey's McGee at The Stone Pony - 2023 celebrates the 25th anniversary for eclectic improv-rock band Umphrey’s McGee. Recently the band was thrown a curveball due to drummer, Kris Meyers, placement on the IR list. Meyers underwent shoulder surgery and will be missing UM fall tour. Improvising, UM has officially started fall tour with notable guest drummers behind the kit. On Thursday August 17, 2023 this experiment began at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ. First up performing was Duane Trucks of Widespread Panic.

12) bergenPAC presents An Evening with John Cusack and Screening of "Better Off Dead" - (ENGLEWOOD, NJ) -- Bergen Performing Arts Center (bergenPAC) presents An Evening with John Cusack on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at 8:00pm. With an impressive body of work spanning the course of three decades, John Cusack has evolved into one of Hollywood’s most accomplished and respected actors of his generation, garnering both critical acclaim as well as prestigious accolades for his dramatic and comedic roles. He will take the bergenPAC stage to talk about his career after screening his 1985 comedy Better Off Dead.

13) Sinatra: A Man and His Music Concert to benefit The Ashley Lauren Foundation - (RED BANK, NJ) -- An unforgettable evening of music and entertainment awaits as Michael Martocci, acclaimed Sinatra Tribute Artist, takes the stage alongside the illustrious 22-piece Ol' Blue Eyes Orchestra in a mesmerizing multi-media presentation celebrating the legendary career of Mr. Frank Sinatra.
