State Theatre New Jersey Presents "Madagascar The Musical" On May 6th (NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- The fully renovated State Theatre New Jersey presents Madagascar the Musical on Saturday, May 6 at 2:00pm & 7:00pm. Join Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe, Gloria the hip-hop Hippo, and those hilarious, plotting penguins as they bound out of the zoo and onto the stage in this live musical adventure. The family-friendly musical features new original music and a colorful cast of larger-than-life characters from the iconic film. Tickets range from $19-$79.

Gershwin's "An American in Paris" and Berlioz's "Harold in Italy" – in Princeton! (PRINCETON, NJ) -- At concerts on Saturday, May 13 at 8:00pm and Sunday, May 14 at 4:00pm, the Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) takes audience members to Paris and on a tour of Italy through George Gershwin's An American in Paris and Hector Berlioz's Harold in Italy, featuring internationally renowned violist Roberto Díaz as soloist. Edward T. Cone Music Director Rossen Milanov conducts the program which includes Westminster Choir College alumna Julia Perry's Study for Orchestra. The concert takes place at Richardson Auditorium in Alexander Hall, on the campus Princeton University.

Garden State Philharmonic Presents "Bach to the Beatles" with Special Guest Speaker Kenneth Womack (TOMS RIVER, NJ) -- The Garden State Philharmonic, under the direction of Conductor Diane Wittry, will perform "Bach to the Beatles," a concert showcasing the influence of famous classical music pieces on modern day rock 'n' roll songs, on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at the Grunin Center for the Arts at Ocean County College. Showtime is 7:30pm. Prior to the concert, Monmouth University Professor Kenneth Womack, a Beatles author and historian, will deliver an opening presentation at 7:00pm and will be available for a book-signing after the show.
