"101 Humiliating Stories" Made Vivid
 

Laura Ekstrand is the Producing Artistic Director of Vivid Stage in Summit, New Jersey, as well as its next leading lady. Starring in 101 Humiliating Stories by Lisa Kron, she will headline the first performance of Vivid Stage's Solo Series from April 13-16.

 



The Growing Stage presents "Don't Let The Pigeon Drive The Bus! The Musical!"
 

(NETCONG, NJ) -- The Growing Stage, The Children's Theatre of New Jersey, located in the Historic Palace Theatre in Netcong will present their final mainstage production of the 2022-2023 season, Don't Let The Pigeon Drive The Bus! The Musical! from May 5-21. It is based on the book Don’t Let The Pigeon Drive The Bus by Mo Willems, published by Hyperion Books for Children with a script by Mo Willems and Mr. Warburton, lyrics by Mo Willems, music by Deborah Wicks La Puma and dramaturgy by Megan Alrutz. This production is under the direction of Lori B. Lawrence, TGS's Director of Educational Programming with musical direction by Laura Petrie and choreography by Cari Sanchez.

 



The Artist Collective Troupe presents 2nd Annual "Wish Upon A Song"
 

(BELMAR, NJ) -- The Artist Collective Troupe will present its 2nd Annual "Wish Upon a Song," an animated movie musical revue benefitting Make-A-Wish New Jersey, in Belmar on Saturday, April 22. Old Library Theatre presents the NJ Community Theatre Premiere of Award Winning Musical "The Prom"
 

(FAIR LAWN, NJ) -- Old Library Theatre (OLT), Fair Lawn Recreation Department's resident theatre company, will present the New Jersey Community Theatre premiere of the Broadway musical, The Prom, over two weekends, April 14th through April 23rd. Performances are on Friday and Saturday evenings at 8:00pm, with Sunday matinees at 2:00pm. The Prom, written by Chad Beguelin and Bob Martin, with music by Matthew Sklar, tells the story of four fading Broadway stars, who are in desperate need of a new stage.

RVCC Chorale to Present Spring Concert

Westminster Conservatory recital to feature piano music by African American composers
 

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- The monthly series Westminster Conservatory at Nassau will present faculty pianist Clipper Erickson in a recital of music by African American composers on April 20, 2023 at 12:15pm. Award-Winning Autism Film to Screen in Princeton
 

(PRINCETON NJ) -- LAC PRODUCTIONS presents the New Jersey premiere of Love and Communication, an award-winning new film about the personal cost of autism, on Tuesday, April 25 at the Princeton Garden Theatre (160 Nassau Street). Written and directed by Princeton playwright James Christy Jr., the film follows the surreal journey of parents desperate to find the right treatment for their son, only to find their efforts putting their marriage at risk.
