Bordentown Regional High School Theatre presents "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat"

(BORDENTOWN, NJ) -- Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, with lyrics by Tim Rice and music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, will be presented across three performances February 24-25 at the Bordentown Performing Arts Center by the award-winning theatre students of Bordentown Regional High SchoolA trio of engaging Narrators tells the magical, musical story of Joseph, whose jealous brothers inadvertently set him on a journey from obscurity to fame and power. With catchy songs in a variety of styles, this jubilant musical about family, dreams, and an Elvis-inspired Pharaoh will entertain and delight the whole family.  

Featured in the cast are Bordentown Regional High School students Candace Farrell, Anna Madden, and Atlas Planas-Borgstrom as the Narrators, Jake Sfraga as Joseph and Ryan Kaufman as the Pharaoh and Jacob.  Brynn Bowyer, Aidan Bramley, Sal Carr, Rylie Evans, Defnenur Gumus, Raymond Hollopeter, Clayton Hubbard, Olivia McGlone, Olivia Olaff, Adam Pollard, and Luke Williams play the eleven sons of Jacob, and Sika Brenya, Nina Guidotti, Wren Magby, Sarah Mahrous, Brandon Rosenblatt, Jo Russo, Genevieve Schenone, and Samuel Williams are featured as the cousins and members of Egyptian court.

Performances take place February 24th at 7:30pm and February 25th at 2:00pm & 7:30pm at the Bordentown Performing Arts Center.  Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for seniors and students, and can be purchased in advance at www.seatyourself.biz/brhs. Tickets will also be sold at the door.

The Bordentown Performing Arts Center is attached to Bordentown Regional High School, and is located at 318 Ward Avenue in Bordentown, NJ. The Bordentown Performing Arts Center is a 942 seat facility whose goal is to bring local, regional and world-renowned cultural performances to their community. It is a perfect place for audiences of all ages to enjoy an afternoon or evening of dance, music or live theatre.

Bordentown Regional High School’s 2012 musical, Legally Blonde, was awarded the prestigious Greater Philadelphia Cappie Award for Outstanding Musical. For more than a decade, the Greater Philadelphia Cappie Awards have honored BRHS Theatre performances with fifty-eight nominations and seventeen awards. The theatrical performances of BRHS have also been honored with awards and nominations from the New Jersey State Thespian Festival and the New Jersey Theatre Night Awards. Bordentown Regional High School is home to International Thespian Society Troupe 6803.

East Lynne Theater Company presents Ken Ludwig's "Dear Jack, Dear Louise"

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- The award-winning, Equity professional East Lynne Theater Company (ELTC) – now in its 45th year–will present its first show of the company's Mainstage Season, Ken Ludwig's "Dear Jack, Dear Louise," from June 19 to July 12, 2025 with a special performance to honor Veterans on June 27. The heartwarming love story features Liz Mattera, an East Lynne veteran, as Louise, and New York-based actor Xander Furman as Jack, with Mark Edward Lang (ELTC's "Possessing Harriet") directing and lush period costumes by NYC designer Travis Chinick.

(MONTCLAIR, NJ) -- Known for its vibrant and lively arts scene, the town of Montclair continues to find new and meaningful ways to celebrate creativity within its community. Dragonfly Multicultural Arts Center will present the classic play in both Metuchen and Plainfield in July. Directed by Dragonfly's Artistic Director Catherine LaMoreaux, Our Town invites audiences into the heart of small-town America through the everyday lives of the residents of Grover's Corners, New Hampshire.
