(TEANECK, NJ) -- The Ma'ayanot Yeshiva High School Drama Society, in ongoing partnership with Black Box Studios (and The Black Box Performing Arts Center), is thrilled to bring back the annual musical after a two-year hiatus!

A Philly Special Christmas Third Vinyl Pressing Available on December 16th
 

(PHILADELPHIA, PA) -- Due to an overwhelming demand, A Philly Special Christmas has announced that fans will be able to order a third pressing of the limited-edition vinyl on December 16th, for 24 hours only via the official website.   Following the two minute sellout of the second batch of vinyl on December 9th, a third exclusive round on green vinyl will be available for purchase on December 16th at 9:00am EST via the official website.  Proceeds from the third round of pressings will be donated to Philadelphia area charities in addition to the pledged $100k+ to Children’s Crisis Treatment Center of Philadelphia.

 



Opera Superstar Pretty Yende and More with the Princeton Symphony Orchestra in 2023
 

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- The Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) offers an exciting start to the new year with South African opera sensation Pretty Yende. The widely acclaimed soprano, whose introduction to opera at 16 was through a TV commercial, is coming to Princeton to perform arias from Gioachino Rossini's Il barbiere di Siviglia (The Barber of Seville) and Giuseppe Verdi’s La traviata as well as Samuel Barber’s Knoxville: Summer of 1915. Under the direction of Edward T. Cone Music Director Rossen Milanov, the PSO will play overtures from operas by Rossini and Verdi, plus Aaron Copland’s Appalachian Spring. Performances take place Saturday, January 14 at 8:00pm and Sunday, January 15 at 4:00pm at Richardson Auditorium on the campus of Princeton University.

 



SZA to Have Arena Tour with Omar Apollo
 

Off the heels of her long-awaited new sophomore album ‘SOS’, music trendsetter and icon SZA will embark on a highly anticipated arena tour this spring with support from Grammy-nominated best new artist Omar Apollo. Produced by Live Nation, the exclusive 17-city tour kicks off on February 21 at Schottenstein Center in Columbus, OH making stops across North America in Chicago, Toronto, New York, Atlanta, Seattle, Vancouver, and more before wrapping up in Los Angeles, CA, at the Kia Forum on March 22. This tour marks the first time the Grammy-award-winning artist is playing venues of this size and debuting her latest album live to fans.

State Theatre presents Salute to Vienna - New Year's Eve Concert
 

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- The fully renovated State Theatre New Jersey presents Salute to Vienna – New Year's Eve Concert on Saturday, December 31 at 5:00pm. This annual State Theatre tradition features celebrated singers, dazzlingly costumed dancers, and a full symphony orchestra. Tickets range from $39-$125.

Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company Among 19 Ensembles and Solo Performers To Represent USA at 20 Festivals Worldwide
 

(BALTIMORE, MD) -- Nineteen ensembles and solo performers will represent the United States at 20 festivals worldwide with over $212,000 in support from round one of the 2023 USArtists International (USAI) program. Those engagements will take place on five continents and include nine music, six dance, and four theater/interdisciplinary companies and solo performers. The list includes Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company.

Lincoln Park Coast Cultural District (LPCCD) Celebrated 20th Year with Gala at Newark Symphony Hall
 

(NEWARK, NJ) -- On Thursday, December 8th, Lincoln Park Coast Cultural District (LPCCD) celebrated its official 20th Anniversary of the non-profit organization at the nearly 100-year-old Newark Symphony Hall, New Jersey’s largest and oldest Black-led arts and entertainment venue. It was a night of culture, edge and elegance for all that attended.
