(BEACH HAVEN, NJ) -- Surflight Theatre is presenting Irving Berlin’s White Christmas, the festive and beloved musical through December 18th.  With spectacular tap dancing and a dazzling score featuring well-known standards including “Blue Skies,” “I Love A Piano,” “How Deep Is the Ocean”, "Count Your Blessings" and the perennial title song, White Christmas is an uplifting musical perfect to bring joy in the Holiday Season. The holiday season is officially underway. Families around the globe are beginning to make travel arrangements for their much-needed reunions, dusting off old recipe books to impress house guests, and scrapping together money for last-minute gift exchanges. In the musical theater world, there’s an urgent demand for cozy productions to match the festive energy in the air. Several productions, including The Nutcracker, A Christmas Carol, and Fiddler On The Roof, have become synonymous with the holiday season. Still, none have quite had the crossover success as The Sound of Music.

PNC Bank Arts Center presents Zac Brown Band
 

(HOLMDEL, NJ) -- Multi-platinum, GRAMMY Award-winning Zac Brown Band announced their upcoming 2023 “From the FireTour.” The new set of dates, produced by Live Nation, arrives on the heels of 2022’s “Out in the Middle Tour” and the release of “The Comeback (Deluxe)” album, which features re-recorded tracks with some of music’s biggest stars, including Blake Shelton, James Taylor, Jimmy Buffett, Cody Johnson, Marcus King, Jamey Johnson, and Ingrid Andress. Locally, the band comes to the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ on Saturday, October 7, 2023 with special guests Tenille Townes and King Calaway.

 



Art Center of Northern New Jersey sponsors a Holiday Jazz Concert
 

(NEW MILFORD, NJ) -- Nationally-acclaimed artist, Philip Smallwood, based in New Milford, New Jersey, will host a jazz concert at The Art Center of Northern New Jersey on Friday, December 16, 2022 from 6:30pm-9:00pm. The event is open to the public and free to attend, though donations for much-needed repairs to the art center are welcomed. Donations to the ACNNJ can be made on their website. Attendees are also encouraged to bring canned or dry food items to be donated to The Church of the Ascension Food Pantry, New Milford, NJ.

Joshua Bassett: The Complicated Tour
 

Singer, songwriter, and actor Joshua Bassett has announced The Complicated Tour, his 2023 run in North America and Europe. The North American leg, produced by Live Nation and supported by Lindsey Lomis, kicks off at The Fillmore in San Francisco on March 7, then crisscrosses the continent before heading overseas. The European dates, supported by Stacey Ryan, begin in Hamburg, Germany on April 28 and wrap up at O2 Forum Kentish Town in London on May 9. 

 



Westminster Choir College celebrated 30th anniversary of An Evening of Readings and Carols
 

(LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ) -- Westminster Choir College of Rider University celebrated the 30th Anniversary of An Evening of Readings and Carols with performances on December 9 and 10 at Princeton University Chapel. The program is the students' culminating performance for the fall semester. This year's program featured performances by Westminster Chapel Choir, Westminster Symphonic Choir, Westminster Jubilee Singers, Westminster Concert Bell Choir, Westminster Choir and Westminster Alumni Choir.

MPAC presents New Jersey Ballet's "Nutcracker"
 

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- New Jersey Ballet's presentation of the holiday favorite Nutcracker comes to Mayo Performing Arts Center for 11 performances beginning Friday, December 16 at 7:30pm and ending on Tuesday, December 27 at 1:00pm. New Jersey Symphony will provide live orchestral accompaniment. Tickets range from $35-$75. Daniel Ulbricht, New York City Ballet Principal Dancer, will perform as a special guest dancer for the December 16 and December 22 performances as Cavalier.
