The Black Box Runs Crowdfunding Campaign (ENGLEWOOD, NJ) -- The Black Box, a not-for-profit 501c3 organization, is now in the midst of re-securing the terms of their lease, which extends for at least two more years. They now need generous and immediate funding as they launch deeper into Fall '22 Season and attempt to regain footing in this complicated arts and culture climate throughout '23. They are running a crowdfunding campaign at GoFundMe with the goal of raising $50,000.

The Hooters to Play Two Shows at Ardmore Music Hall (ARDMORE, PA) -- Philadelphia rock n’ roll institution The Hooters, best known for their 1980s hits “And We Danced” and “All You Zombies,” will return to Ardmore Music Hall to celebrate the venue’s 10 year anniversary on May 12th and 13th, 2023 for a 2-night run. The 600-capacity independent venue on Philly’s Main Line will offer fans an opportunity to see the band perform songs from their extensive catalog in a decidedly intimate space.
Westminster Symphonic Choir will perform 'El Mesias: Handel’s Messiah for a New World' with Orchestra of St. Luke's (NEW YORK, NY) -- Rider University’s Westminster Symphonic Choir, under the direction of Dr. James Jordan, conductor, will perform El Mesías: Handel’s Messiah for a New World on November 20 at Christ Church NYC, 524 Park Ave, New York, New York, 10065. The choir will be joined by the Orchestra of St. Luke’s and the performance will be conducted by guest conductor Ruben Valenzuela, artistic director of the Bach Collegium San Diego.
Rutgers University Kirkpatrick Choir presents "Love and Joy" on Saturday (NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- Rutgers University Kirkpatrick Choir presents "Love and Joy" on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Nicholas Music Center. The Choir will present two masterpieces (Misa Criolla by Ariel Ramirez with Inkarayku accompanying on traditional Andean winds, strings, and percussion and Mass: A Celebration of Love and Joy by André Thomas) showcasing the versatility of the Mason Gross flagship choral ensemble and the diversity of the choral repertoire. The concert begins at 7:30pm.

Cresskill High School Students Help The Homeless (CRESSKILL, NJ) -- Cresskill teenagers - Namhoon Lee, Jaeho Cho, Alex, and Daniel Dangelico, were inspired to create an organization that would give back to the community. "After two years of remote learning and social distancing, we wanted to bond to help those less fortunate," said former President and co-founder Namhoon Lee. These Cresskill H.S. seniors founded the organization titled, Beyond a Goal (B.A.G.); the mission is to help provide immediate attention to this ongoing crisis by fundraising in the community to provide backpacks filled with hygiene kits, extra shirts, water, protein bars, and masks to be distributed to the homeless throughout the NJ/NY area".
Holiday Made in Monmouth coming Dec. 10 (LINCROFT, NJ) -- The Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners has announced that a Holiday Made in Monmouth will take place on Saturday, December 10 from 11:00am to 4:00pm at Brookdale Community College in the Robert J. Collins Arena.
