Tony Winning Star of “MJ” To Be Debut Guest At “The Broadway Lecture Series” Coming To Montclair State University
 

(MONTCLAIR, NJ) -- The Tony Winning Superstar Myles Frost, currently starring as Michael Jackson in “MJ '' on Broadway is coming to Montclair State University for the debut of The Broadway Lecture Series on November 28th at 7:00pm. This event will be live and in-person. It is best described as the Broadway version of “Inside The Actor’s Studio.” It will be a 75 minute conversation about Myle’s process and his journey to Broadway.

 



McCarter adds "Blues For An Alabama Sky" to 2022-23 Season
 

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- McCarter has added Blues For An Alabama Sky by Pearl Cleage to its 2022-2023 season.  The bold, character drama is directed by Nicole A. Watson, McCarter Associate Artistic Director, in collaboration with the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis. Performances at McCarter Theatre Center begin May 6-28.

Princeton Symphony Orchestra to perform "Il barbiere di Siviglia" during Princeton Festival
 

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- The Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) will present a new production of Gioachino Rossini’s Il barbiere di Siviglia (The Barber of Seville) as the centerpiece of its Princeton Festival to be held June 9-25, 2023. Rossen Milanov, Edward T. Cone Music Director and artistic head of the Princeton Festival, will conduct the opera which will receive a three-performance run.

Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center Launches New Concert Series at Drew University
 

(MADISON, NJ) -- The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center (CMS) brings its world-renowned roster of chamber musicians to Drew University’s Concert Hall in Madison, NJ, for a new three-concert series in the 2022-2023 season, with performances at 7:30pm on Saturday evenings November 19, January 28 and April 15. 

 



Villains Shine Musically in South Jersey Pops’ Kickoff Concert Oct. 23
 

(MEDFORD NJ) -- The South Jersey Pops, the area’s own non-profit orchestra, delves into the darker side of theater with its first concert of the 2022-23 season. “Villains,” to be staged October 23, 2022, at Lenape High School in Medford, will pay homage to some of the great and memorable foes, scoundrels and other evil entities from the history of cinema, theater, fabledom and classical music. 

 



Asbury Lanes presents American Authors
 

(ASBURY PARK, NK) -- Alternative rock band American Authors are coming to Asbury Lanes on Wednesday, November 16th at 8:00pm. They recently released the single "Blind for Love". Never a band to rest on their laurels, American Authors pushed their limits even more on the single, creating piano, acoustic, slowed down, sped up, and instrumental versions of the new track.

 



15th Live in The Vineyard takes place November 1-3
 

(NAPA VALLEY, CA) -- Live In The Vineyard presented by Visit Napa Valley has announced the addition of several iconic artists and songwriters to their Pop/Hot AC event. Renovated Bergen Performing Arts Center Fills Calendar, Puts Students in Spotlight
 

The Bergen Performing Arts Center in Englewood reopens its doors this week with plenty to celebrate. Not only is the venue set to host its first full season of live events in three years, but also guests also notice that the venue has undergone substantial renovations and its Performing Arts School students can again perform among professionals on its stage.

 



Morris Arts' 13th Annual Pumpkin Illumination takes place October 23rd
 

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Morris Arts’ 13th annual Pumpkin Illumination event will be held on Sunday, October 23 from 5:00pm–7:00pm at the Vail Mansion Reflection Pool (110 South Street, Morristown). It is a free family-friendly event for all ages that includes an art workshop led by artist Dan Fenelon, live jazz music from the Alex De Lazzari Quartet and a luminary parade led by Mayor Tim Dougherty – all culminating in an illuminating pumpkin display.
