5) "A Real Treat!" George Benson LIVE! on the Beach in Seaside Heights, NJ - A large crowd brimming with anticipation is waiting beside the ocean in Seaside Heights, NJ this Sunday, August 14, 2022 evening for the start of a summer concert on the beach by R&B and jazz superstar George Benson.

6) Inside Hudson Theatre Works' 2022-23 Season - (WEEHAWKEN, NJ) -- Hudson Theatre Works has announced their 2022-23 season - their 10th year of producing professional theatre.  They open on September 24- 25 with their first children’s show in 2 years.  “Red and the Hoods” directed by Beatriz Esteban-Messina. 10) “Bendix: Sight Unseen” Documentary Inspires Director, Friendship, and Audiences at New Jersey Film Festival - Filmmaker Anthony Scalia grew up not far from the Bendix Diner, but he never knew anybody who had ever gone inside. One night when he was out late and it was the only place open, he decided to venture in. What he found was an amazing story that he details in the short documentary, Bendix: Sight Unseen. The film will be available for virtual screening on October 16 as part of the New Jersey Film Festival Fall 2022.

11) PHOTOS from "I Ought To Be In Pictures" at Nutley Little Theatre - (NUTLEY, NJ) -- Nutley Little Theatre is presenting I Ought To Be In Pictures over three weekends in September from September 9-24.  The play by Neil Simon tells the story of Herb Tucker, a man who, sixteen years earlier walked out on his wife and children in New York to pursue a career as a screenwriter in Hollywood. 12) PHOTOS from Long Branch Jazz & Blues Festival - (LONG BRANCH, NJ) -- The Jersey Shore Jazz & Blues Foundation presented the Long Branch Jazz & Blues Festival on Saturday, August 27. The event included crafters, vendors, and food trucks. Photographer John Posada was on hand to take photos.

13) What’s Filming In New Jersey: AMC’s The Walking Dead Spin-Off starring Lauren Cohan and Jeffrey Dean Morgan - (NEWARK, NJ) -- AMC’s The Walking Dead franchise expands its universe to the Meadowlands Arena and North Jersey locations for its upcoming spin-off series starring Lauren Cohan and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. This is the fifth series in The Walking Dead franchise and will follow Maggie (Cohan) and Negan (Morgan) as they explore a postapocalyptic New York City. Eli Jorné, who writes and co-executive produces the original series, will serve as the showrunner, while Scott M. Gimple, chief content officer of The Walking Dead franchise, will oversee the series. Cohan and Morgan also serve as executive producers. The first six-episode season is expected to debut on AMC and AMC+ in 2023. 

14) Cockroaches, Hidden Worlds, Dancing to Agatha Christie, and Forgotten Children are among Highlights of New Jersey Film Festival in September - “Seems everywhere I lived, there were always cockroaches and I figured, well, they were actually being wasted,” said Joey Skaggs.

Skaggs was noted by one television host as being called, “The Great Hoax Artist, a liar, and a media genius” and his latest short film is one of over twenty that will being screened at the Fall 2022 New Jersey Film Festival. The festival runs on select Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays between September 9th through October 16th. Seventeen films will have their New Jersey or Middlesex County premiere at the festival. We’ll take a look at a few of my favorites for September in this article.

15) Harry Styles To Play 15 Shows at Madison Square Garden - (NEW YORK, NY) -- On May 27, international superstar Harry Styles announced that he has sold out all 42 dates of his massive Love On Tour 2022 in support of his new album Harry’s House. This includes the additional 5 New York and 5 Los Angeles dates that were just recently announced. Coming off two special One Night Only shows in New York and London, the 2022 tour will allow fans to have access to multiple nights in each major city turning iconic venues into Harry’s House for the run of shows.
