In April, local New Jersey musician Sean Faust was interviewed by Lazlo of BlowUpRadio.com and talked about needing to find a way to raise money to help with his mental health expenses. Lazlo suggested people cover his songs for a benefit compilation.
The culmination of that suggestion, "Don't Get Up, Relax", will be released on Sean Faust's Bandcamp page on Friday September 2nd.
Each of the the three songs on the compilation are unique covers of Sean Faust's songs.
The Fisherman & The Sea (Helsinki, Finland) - Settle In; The Maravines (NJ) - As It Grows (Part 2: Without A Name); and Lazlo featuring Pat Veil (NJ) - Boba Fett.
"All three tracks are proof that there are amazing people in the world that are willing to put their time and effort into covering my songs to help," says Sean Faust, "I'm blown away that Lazlo, who is a radio DJ, not a singer, would choose to record vocals on a song for the first time just to bring extra attention to my cause!"

"Treatment for mental health is not always the most affordable, but when one needs help one needs to ask for help sometimes. Trauma and mental health are no joke and although I am currently in treatment I do have to ask for help from my community to help me to be able to afford it. I thank everybody who has ever listened, performed, or just spoken with me. Your love and help are huge to me and will always be appreciated!"
