Teaneck International Film Festival to Take Place Online and In-Person

originally published: 08/25/2022

(TEANECK, NJ) -- Travel the world with the TIFF as we explore domestic and global issues that are affecting us today. The 17th annual Teaneck International Film Festival will include independent features, documentaries, shorts, and talkbacks that demonstrate our commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion, and to inspiring involvement and activism. This year’s festival will be virtual (November 13-15) and in-person (November 17-20).

Ticket sales will be online at www.teaneckfilmfestival.org starting in October. Make a tax-deductible contribution now of at least $25 to receive an invitation to the gala, Saturday night, November 19, at Temple Emeth in Teaneck, with food, wine, our Centerpiece film, and a talkback.

Venues are your own living room for the virtual TIFF (via Ovee) and Teaneck Cinemas, Puffin Cultural Forum, and Temple Emeth for the in-person portion of the festival.

Business sponsorship information is available online or by calling 201-203-1723 or via email.

The Teaneck Internationl Film Festival is a project of the Puffin Foundation, Ltd. Presently, the festival draws over 3,000 filmgoers each year. Films and talkbacks illustrate what TIFF is about – making untouchable topics part of everyday conversation by addressing racism, oppression, the environment, the LGBTQ community, women’s concerns, immigration -- stories of the little guy whose story is not often heard. With the theme, Activism: Making Change, the festival is an excellent starting point for fostering appreciation of differences, understanding all that we share, and encouraging efforts to help make the world a better place.
