Registration Open For Adult Acting Class at Centenary Stage Company (HACKETTSTOWN, NJ) -- Centenary Stage Company is offering an adult acting class titled From Shakespeare to Coward to be taught by Carl Wallnau for the 2022 Fall Semester. From Shakespeare to Coward will run Monday nights from 6:00pm - 9:00pm and will begin on August 29. Registration is open to the public and is $250.00 per person. The deadline to register is August 28.

PNC Bank Arts Center presents Shinedown (HOLMDEL, NJ) -- Multi-platinum rock band Shinedown – who were named #1 on Billboard’s Greatest Of All Time Mainstream Rock Artists Chart in 2021 – is on the road this year in support of their brand-new album, Planet Zero, with their biggest stage show yet. Children's Book Illustrations Spotlight 10 Mighty Women at the Zimmerli This Fall (NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- The Zimmerli Art Museum at Rutgers University-New Brunswick presents Stand Up! 10 Mighty Women Who Made a Change from September 28 through February 12, 2023. The exhibit was organized by Nicole Simpson, assistant curator of prints and drawings. Bilingual labels, in English and Spanish, accompany the works. The exhibition celebrates the debut picture book of the same title by Brittney Cooper, professor of women's, gender and sexuality studies and Africana studies at Rutgers, with illustrations by Cathy Ann Johnson.
