(LAVALLETTE, NJ) -- Hear and see the compelling tale of a pop music legend in video and memorabilia when Jimmy Scalia presents “Beyond the Sea: The Life & Times of Bobby Darin” at the Ocean County Library Upper Shores Branch on Wednesday, August 24 at 6:00pm.
As the official archivist for Bobby Darin’s estate, Jimmy oversees the preservation of photographs, memorabilia, and the artist’s legendary songbook for the Darin family, and preserves Darin’s legacy by producing and re-releasing the singer’s rare recordings.
In “Beyond The Sea,” Jimmy documents the highlights of Darin’s life through rare video clips that feature the singer, engages viewers in questions and answers, and displays original artifacts.
