(TOMS RIVER, NJ) -- The Ocean County Library Barnegat Branch will exhibit artwork by local artist, Marty Mayo, throughout the month of August. Mayo specializes in mixed-media illustrations, caricatures, and collages. His art, featured in publications such as the New York Times, Washington Post, and Boston Globe, draws inspiration from current events and everyday people.
The multi-talented Mayo is also the founder and guitarist of Marty and the Martians, which plays regularly throughout the greater Jersey Shore area.
In 2021, Mayo was featured on the Ocean County Library’s YouTube channel and podcast as part of the hit “Meet the Artist” series.
