Winners of Picture Middlesex County Photography Contest Announced

(MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ) -- Middlesex County has announced the winners for the spring edition of Picture Middlesex County, which was open to all amateur and professional photographers who live in New Jersey from March 8 – May 17, 2022. Overall winners include: Muhammad Taha Khan in first place, Ranjithkumar Rajarethinam in second place, and Peichi Waite in third place. People’s Choice Award winners include: Mahesh Patel in first place, Mahesh Patel in second place, and Lucien Varghese in third place.

The overall winners of the spring edition of Picture Middlesex County were chosen by an anonymous judging committee. People’s Choice Award winners were determined by the number of “likes”/ “reactions” that each photo received on Middlesex County’s Facebook Page.

“On behalf of the County Commissioners, congratulations to all the participants and winners who took part in our photo contest. It always amazes us to see all the different perspectives of the beauty that’s right here in Middlesex County,” said County Commissioner Director Ronald G. Rios. “Over the past two years we have received thousands of photographs showcasing life in the County, and I personally look forward to seeing what our residents will submit in our upcoming fall edition.”

(HAMILTON, NJ) -- Explore the fleeting nature of time through murals, daily meditative practices and newly commissioned sculptures in "Shantell Martin: Past, Present, Future," on view from September 20, 2026-July 23, 2028 at Grounds For Sculpture (GFS).
