Arts Institute of Middlesex County now accepting grant applications for the National Endowment for the Arts - American Rescue Plan (NEA ARP) Grant

originally published: 06/01/2022

(MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ) -- Nonprofit organizations with arts-based missions that are located in and operate in Middlesex County and that have an annual budget of $500,000 or less are encouraged to apply for funding through the Arts Institute of Middlesex County. Applications will be reviewed by an external grants panel. Applications are being accepted from now through midnight on July 18, 2022. They will be holding several technical assistance workshops in both in-person and virtual formats.

Organizations will be considered for annual awards of either $5,000 or $10,000 with a two-year commitment, ensuring sustained, multi-year general operating support for the arts in Middlesex County. Full guidelines are currently available on the Arts Institute of Middlesex County’s grants portal.

This project is supported in part by an award from the National Endowment for the Arts. To find out more about how National Endowment for the Arts grants impact individuals and communities, visit www.arts.gov

Additionally, the Arts Institute of Middlesex County is hosting a series of technical assistance workshops to help answer questions about the program and to review program guidelines. Four workshop sessions will be offered in June, including two in-person and two virtual sessions to accommodate all needs. Registration is required.

Please contact the Arts Institute of Middlesex County for accessibility accommodations or translation requests for the grant guidelines. Closed captioning will be available at all virtual workshops.
