Middletown Arts Center presents The MAC ONE-ACTS Play-Reading Festival


(MIDDLETOWN, NJ) -- The Middletown Arts Center will present the third edition of The MAC ONE-ACTS Play-Reading Festival on Saturday, June 4 at 7:00pm. The festival features original, one-act works by New Jersey playwrights read theatrically by local actors. The highly successful festival began as a virtual event in 2020 and was then presented on the MAC’s tented patio last spring.
2022 Basie Award Winners for Monmouth County High School Theatre


(RED BANK, NJ) -- Winners were announced on May 25, 2022 at the annual BASIE AWARDS, honoring excellence and achievement in Monmouth County high school theatre. This year’s ceremony, presented by Bank of America, took place live and in person for the first time since 2019, drawing a capacity crowd to the historic performing arts center.
Paper Mill Playhouse's Annual Gala Raises Close To $1.2 Million


(MILLBURN, NJ) -- Paper Mill Playhouse, along with the Gala Chairs Sofia and Peter Cocoziello, announced that the theater’s annual Gala, which was held at the Hilton Short Hills on Friday, May 20, was sold out and raised almost $1.2 million with the most successful Live Auction in Paper Mill's 84-year history.

MPAC presents The Mavericks

In celebration of Art in the Atrium’s 30th anniversary, the Morris Museum and Art in the Atrium (ATA) present the exhibition, For the Culture, By the Culture: 30 Years of Black Art, Activism, and Achievement. This exhibition brings together prior ATA-featured artists in a group retrospective that spans 30 years and spotlights local and national Black artists who are masters of their craft and who have contributed to Black culture by creating impactful works.

Antique Toy Presentation and Olde Stone House Village Tour on June 11th


(SEWELL, NJ) -- When we think of toys, we often think of things we might own now or in the past, rather than historical artifacts. However, toys can teach us quite a lot about history. On Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 1:00 pm, the Gloucester County Historical Society will present a program on Antique Toys followed by a tour of the village’s five historic buildings. The Olde Stone House Village is located at 208 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell, NJ.
