Music Mountain Theatre presents "Godspell"


(LAMBERTVILLE, NJ) -- Godspell opens at Music Mountain Theatre on Friday, May 27th featuring a live 5-piece band! Godspell runs from May 27 through June 12, playing a total of 12 performances. Godspell was the first major musical theatre offering from three-time Grammy and Academy Award winner, Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Pippin, Children of Eden), and it took the world by storm.
Vivid Stage Presents New Play Reading Collaborations in June


(SUMMIT, NJ) -- Vivid Stage, formerly Dreamcatcher Repertory Theatre, in residence at Oakes Center at 120 Morris Avenue in Summit, will present new play readings on June 1 and 7 in collaboration with other New Jersey arts organizations. 
The Kimmel Cultural Campus presents "To Kill A Mockingbird"


(PHILADELPHIA, PA) – The Kimmel Cultural Campus, in partnership with The Shubert Organization, presents the history-making production of To Kill a Mockingbird in a Philadelphia premiere engagement, July 12 – 24, 2022 at the Campus’ Academy of Music. Academy Award® winner Aaron Sorkin’s new play, directed by Tony Award® winner Bartlett Sher and based on Harper Lee’s classic novel, will come to Philadelphia as part of a multi-year national tour across North America.
George Street Playhouse Artistic Associate Laiona Michelle Receives 2022 Lilly Award


(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- Writer, actor and George Street Playhouse Artistic Associate Laiona Michelle has received a 2022 Lilly Award. Ms. Michelle will receive the $5,000 Stacey Mindich Go Work in Theater Award. The Lillys celebrate, fund, and fight for women by promoting gender and racial parity in the American theater.  The awards are funded by Lilly Board member and producer Stacey Mindich.

NJPAC Adds Third Show for Hasan Minhaj


(NEWARK, NJ) -- New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) welcomes, The King’s Jester, Hasan Minhaj to the stage on Saturday, June 4 at 7:00pm & 10:00pm and newly added Sunday, June 5th at 8:00pm.  “The king’s jester.” Minhaj returns to his storytelling roots four years after the global success of his Netflix comedy special “homecoming king” which garnered rave reviews and won him a 2018 Peabody Award.

Talmi Entertainment Renames "Moscow Ballet’s Great Russian Nutcracker" In Solidarity With Ukraine; Announces Show in Sewell


(SEWELL, NJ) -- In solidarity with the people of Ukraine, Talmi Entertainment announces the company’s flagship production, “Moscow Ballet’s Great Russian Nutcracker,” will be renamed “NUTCRACKER! Magic of Christmas Ballet.”  Talmi Entertainment is an independent, American owned production company based in the Berkshires of Massachusetts. The production comes to the Investors Bank Arts Center in Sewell, on Monday, November 14th at 7:00pm.

Plein Air at Olde Stone House Village Was a Success


​​​​​​​(WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ) -- Forced to utilize the rain date of May 15, the Friends of the Olde Stone House Village had a successful Plein Air event this year following the inaugural event in 2021. Nine artists painted their selection of subjects in the pastoral setting at the historical village at 208 Egg Harbor Road in Washington Township, Gloucester County. Returning artist participant Norman Schmidt commented “It was a wonderful event and all involved did a great job.”

Cherry Hill's Foodiehall is Helping End Food Insecurity in America... One Meal at a Time


​​​​​​​(CHERRY HILL, NJ) -- When entrepreneurs Dan Goldberg and Nick Ballias opened Foodiehall, a pickup and delivery-only virtual food hall and E-restaurant in Cherry Hill, NJ, they did so with the mission to donate as many meals as possible to those in need. With seven concepts in-house to start, and another three to follow once they hit their stride, Goldberg and Ballias, along with Culinary Director Georgeann Leaming, knew that they’d be able to make a real difference in delivering food to programs on the front line of hunger in the U.S.
