(FREEHOLD, NJ) -- iPlay America has announced that Christopher DeLuca has joined the organization as Food and Beverage Director. DeLuca will play a pinnacle role in developing the front of house team for their all-new dining experience, The Loaded Spoon, set to open this summer. He will also enhance the practices and procedures to take the sports bar experience at Topgolf Swing Suite to the next level. “What we’ve found in Chris is an excellent leader,” said COO Samantha Unglert.” The experience he brings from running multiple high-volume restaurants, complemented by his background in finance, make for the perfect skillset for success in this role.
DeLuca was awarded the Wusthoff Award for Leadership from the Institute of Culinary Education where he earned his degree in Culinary Management after earning his Finance degree from St. John’s University. Throughout his career working for the Harvest Restaurant Group, DeLuca managed multiple restaurants, working his way to be a named General Manager at the Urban Table in Baskin Ride, NJ and then the Roots Ocean Prime in Princeton, NJ. DeLuca brings with him a great knowledge of the industry, becoming ServSafe certified in Food Protection and Alcohol.
