Straight No Chaser to Celebrate 25th Anniversary at NJPAC


(NEWARK, NJ) -- Chart-topping a cappella group Straight No Chaser will celebrate their 25th Anniversary at New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at 7:30pm.
Bob Burger to Release "The Domino Effect"


Bob Burger's latest solo album The Domino Effect will be released by JEM Records on July 1, 2022. This is his first solo release since The Day After in 2012. The album includes 11 new original alternative rock tracks that somewhat depart from The Weeklings sound, following in the style of Burger's earlier solo albums on the Big Brave Music label.  This will also be the first JEM release of Burger's solo work, although JEM has already released a series of power pop albums by The Weeklings, of which Burger is a founding member.  
Independent Producer Karen Morris debuts The Rat Pack Music Alliance


Karen Morris, an independent producer for over 25 years, and an ardent fan of the music of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis, Jr., recently founded The Rat Pack Music Alliance (RPMA), an entity to honor those three legendary musical icons.

New Jersey's Best Community College Students


(TRENTON, NJ) -- On April 28th, the New Jersey Council of County Colleges (NJCCC) honored 38 students from the state's 19 Community Colleges for being named to the 2022 New Jersey All-State Academic Team for their outstanding academic achievements and exceptional service to their communities and colleges as members of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), the national honor society for Community Colleges. The New Jersey Community College Scholars Celebration was held at the New Jersey State Museum in Trenton.

New Jersey Community Capital Awarded $985,000 for Continued Neighborhood Revitalization in East Trenton


(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- New Jersey Community Capital (NJCC), the state of New Jersey’s largest community development financial institution (CDFI), today celebrated the award of $985,000 from the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (DCA) through the Neighborhood Revitalization Tax Credit Program (NRTC). NJCC will utilize the funding to support ongoing programs managed by the East Trenton Collaborative (ETC), a community organizing and development initiative in the East Trenton neighborhood of Trenton’s North Ward. East Trenton residents drive the vision for this revitalization effort, which integrates physical and economic development with community building activities that meet the unique needs of the neighborhood.
BergenPAC announces performances of "A Christmas Carol" and "Two Cheers for Democracy"


(ENGLEWOOD, NJ) -- Bergen Performing Arts Center (bergenPAC) has announced new shows for the holidays and the new year. Two performances of Virginia Rep on Tour’s adaptation of Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” will take place on Sunday, December 18 at 1:00pm and 4:30pm. Based on the most discussed current events, Capitol Comedy will take aim at Washington politicians and social chatter through sketches, songs, and parodies in their new show, “Two Cheers for Democracy,” on Friday, January 13, 2023 at 8:00pm. 
Vanguard Theater Hosts Fundraiser Cabaret Pancake Breakfast in May, and Collaborates with Out Montclair for a Drag Variety Show in June


(MONTCLAIR, NJ) -- On Saturday, May 21, 2022, from 9 :00am - 2:00pm, Vanguard Theater will host a Pancake and Waffle Breakfast Fundraiser, to raise much needed scholarship dollars for Vanguard’s Summerstock program. Chef June (Vanguard’s Chef extraordinaire) has created a delicious menu of pancakes, waffles and more, and Vanguard's very talented Summerstock actors and alumni will be performing throughout the event.
