Playful Theatre presents "Falsettos"

Wellmont Theater presents Dorothy, Joyous Wolf, and Classless Act

The bass player Kevin Scott is from Alabama and the guitar player is from kind of all over. He was born in L.A. and grew up in Philadelphia and St. Louis and his father was Aerosmith’s guitar-tech for years so, he’s got touring in his blood,” laughed “Bayou Soul” artist Marc Broussard as he discussed his band, his latest album, “A Lullaby Collection SOS lll” and his new children’s book, “I Love You For You” along with the current tour and his upcoming April 1 show at The South Orange Performing Arts Center.

RVCC to Present Two Music Students Recitals


(BRANCHBURG, NJ) -- Raritan Valley Community College’s Arts & Design department will present two Music Students Recitals on Wednesday, April 20, and Friday, April 22. Both concerts are open to the public and will begin at 7:30pm in the Welpe Theatre at the College’s Branchburg campus. The programs are being coordinated by Dr. Anna Keiserman, ​Assistant Professor of Music and collaborative pianist.

Princeton University Library's latest exhibition showcases foundations of alchemy from 15th century to the time of Sir Isaac Newton


(PRINCETON, NJ) -- Princeton University Library (PUL) will open its newest exhibition in the Ellen and Leonard Milberg Gallery, Firestone Library, on April 6, 2022. "Through a Glass Darkly: Alchemy and the Ripley Scrolls 1400-1700" will show how European alchemists built on Greco-Egyptian, Islamic, and late medieval foundations to create a golden age of alchemy from the 15th century to the time of Sir Isaac Newton. Rich in color and symbolism, the exhibition will feature two alchemical “Ripley Scrolls,” named after the English alchemist George Ripley, which rank among the most spectacular products of this tradition.  The exhibition will be open to the public.
The Gallery at MCCC Presents 2022 "Visual Arts Student Exhibition"


(WEST WINDSOR, NJ) -- Creativity is in bloom at The Gallery at Mercer County Community College (MCCC) as art students showcase their talents at this year’s “Visual Arts Student Exhibition” April 4 through May 11. The exhibit includes 40 works by 23 student artists from the college’s visual and graphic arts programs including fine arts, advertising and graphic design, digital arts, photography and sculpture. The show is free and open to the public.
