WP Theatre presents "Love Letters" by A.R. Gurney


(WAYNE, NJ) -- William Paterson University Theatre presents Love Letters by A. R. Gurney from March 1-5 in the Hunziker Black Box Theatre.  In the play, Andrew Makepeace III and Melissa Gardner have been writing to each other from the time they first met as children.  Sitting at separate tables, these two people share the simple yet remarkable arc of their lives over the passage of time. 
Vanguard Theater presents "A Portrait of Ray"


(MONTCLAIR, NJ)  -- On Friday, February 25, Broadway veteran Dwayne Clark brings his acclaimed show, A Portrait of Ray, to Vanguard Theater, Montclair, for seven performances only, as part of the New Jersey Theater Alliance’s Stages Festival. A hallmark of Ray Charles’ career was bringing together many different genres of music and issues to create a new sound. So it is only fitting that Vanguard is highlighting the important work being done in Montclair by several organizations and businesses, with special performances of A Portrait of Ray.

Our Favorite Stories In Music: Interview with Five for Fighting's John Ondrasik


New Jersey Stage published its 25,000th story in December 2021. As the site approached the milestone, we posed the question on social media as how we should celebrate.  One response was to highlight our favorite stories from over the years.  We liked this idea, but could not narrow things down to just 25 favorites so we will present a favorite each day from different genres. Reock & Roll Revue pays tribute to Sly and The Family Stone at Kelsey Theatre


(WEST WINDSOR, NJ) -- Reock & Roll Revue returns to Mercer County Community College’s (MCCC’s) Kelsey Theatre stage March 4-6 for a funkadelic weekend of performances with the band’s newest show featuring hits from the influential musical icon Sly And The Family Stone. The Matt O'Ree Band Hits The Road In Support Of New Album


(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- The Matt O'Ree Band will be hitting the road in support of Hand In Glove, a new album expected to be released in the Spring.  Highlights include include Daytona Bike Week from March 6th-13th and the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally from August 5th – 12th. Shows in thirteen states have been announced so far with one local date - July 31st in Long Branch.

New Jersey Film Festival Spring 2022 Winners Announced


New Jersey Film Festival Spring 2022 Winners All the works that were part of the Spring 2022 New Jersey Film Festival Competition were selected by a panel of judges including media professionals, journalists, students, and academics. These judges selected the 27 finalists which were publicly screened at our Festival. The finalists were selected from 633 works submitted by filmmakers from around the world. In addition, the judges chose the Prize Winners in conjunction with the Festival Director.
