New Jersey has a lot to offer the national and international film and television industry – from sprawling farmlands to iconic beaches to bustling downtowns. New Jersey is also home to one of the largest talent pools of film and digital media in the world. In addition, the Garden State offers one of the most comprehensive Film and Digital Media Tax Credit programs in the nation.
This month’s ECONversations episode is hosted by NJEDA Chief Community Development Officer Tai Cooper. Participants included New Jersey Motion Picture & Television Commission Executive Director Steven Gorelick, NJEDA's Senior Advisor of Film, Digital & Economic Growth Communications Darryl Isherwood, and Newark International Film Festival Founder Kenneth Gifford.
