Count Basie Center for the Arts presents Graham Nash


(RED BANK, NJ) -- The legendary Graham Nash - a two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee - comes to the Count Basie Center for the Arts on Wednesday, July 13 at 7:30pm.  As a founding member of both the Hollies and Crosby, Stills and Nash, Graham Nash is one who has seen rock history unfold at some of its seminal moments.

Rock Against Hate Volume 4 Featuring NJ Artists Is Released


In a show of support for women’s right to choose, RockAgainstHate.org, released its fourth compilation on June 24, 2022 to raise funds for Planned Parenthood to voice their concern for the SCOTUS decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. The compilation, bringing together exclusive, previously unreleased songs from artists from New Jersey and around the world, is available to download for a donation of $10 or more at www.RockAgainstHate.org. All proceeds for Volume 4 go to Planned Parenthood.


ren Releases “Shifted Perspective”


Flanders New Jersey native singer-songwriter Lauren Onufryk released her debut album "Shifted Perspective" in June under her stage name ren. Lauren graduated from Mount Olive High School and is a sophomore at the University of California Irvine (UCI). She wrote and recorded the EP in her dorm room between classes and studying.


Evil Nature Releases Debut Full-Length Album


Evil Nature is a post punk creation headed by New Jersey singer/bassist Dasher Hammet. The band released their debut full-length album How and When to Prune Roses on June 21, 2022 on all streaming services. The story of the band begins inside the heart of the legendary recording studio Big Blue Meenie in Jersey City - the place where bands like Thursday, Taking Back Sunday, Bouncing Souls, Mighty Mighty Bosstone, Agnostic Front, and many more were creating their best work.


Mi Gente Live to Perform at Brook Arts Center


(BOUND BROOK, NJ) -- Mi Gente Live is a young energetic Latin pop show that brings the party to life!. Based out of New York City, this act is headlined by Edvin Ortega (Gotham, Orange Is The New Black) and Melody Rodriguez (In The Heights). They will perform at the Brook Arts Center in Bound Brook on Friday, September 16, 2022 at 8:00pm.


Thundermother to Support Scorpions at Borgata Show


(ATLANTIC CITY, NJ) -- Sweden’s all-female heavy rock band Thundermother will open for the Scorpions on September 5 at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City. Showtime is 8:00pm. The band is touring in support of their album "Black and Gold " which comes out August 19, 2022.


The Clearwater Festival Returns to Live Performances


(RED BANK, NJ) -- After two years of remote, online festivals, New Jersey’s oldest festival celebrating music, the environment and more, is bringing the annual gathering to the beautiful Riverside Gardens Park on the banks of the Navesink River, in Downtown Red Bank. The Clearwater Festival will run from 11:00am to 7:00pm Saturday and 11:00am to 5:00pm Sunday on the weekend of August 6th and 7th. 


Jason Didner to Release "It’s a Jersey Thing"


Montclair singer/songwriter Jason Didner is set to release a compilation of his most quintessentially Jersey music from over 25 years of his songwriting and performance. “It’s a Jersey Thing” will include his Jersey rock songs for adults and kids. 


Newark Museum of Art's 2022 Summer Series of Outdoor Concerts


(NEWARK, NJ) -- For the second consecutive summer, The Newark Museum of Art partners with New Jersey Symphony to bring you a vibrant outdoor series of concerts in the Alice Ransom Dreyfuss Memorial Garden. NMOA music programs span across jazz, gospel, blues, and Broadway tunes (for adults and kids) and they are curated by Visiting Curator of Performing Arts Daryl Stewart and WBGO host Sheila Anderson.


2022 Music Mondays Schedule For Asbury Park


(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- The Asbury Park Music Foundation has announced the lineup for the 2022 Music Mondays series. This free weekly music event celebrates the diversity of the city by bringing music from various genres together to showcase the very best Asbury has to offer.  The performances are held at Springwood Park, just two blocks west of the Asbury Park train station.
