Erika Sherger Releases Independent Album, "Bad Wolf"


Erika Sherger has announced the independent release of her new indie-folk album, Bad Wolf, now available on all major streaming channels. Bad Wolf includes 12 original songs that were written and recorded by Sherger in New Jersey between 2021 and 2023. The tracks were recorded at GD PonderRosa Studios in Lafayette, the County College of Morris in Randolph and in Sherger’s home in Boonton Township. This release also features tracks by several talented local musicians, including Maribyrd, Joe Biglin and Joe Cirrotti.

RVCC to Stage Student Theatre Production Featuring Modern Take on “Everyman”


(BRANCHBURG, NJ) -- Raritan Valley Community College's Arts & Design department will present a student theatre production of Everyman/Everywoman, by Virginia Egermeier, from April 12-15 with performances at 7:00pm. Directed by Adjunct Associate Professor Danielle Barry of Bridgewater, the play will be staged in the Welpe Theatre at the College's Branchburg campus. Everyman, the popular medieval play, was the most widely read, frequently produced play before the Elizabethan Age.


Two River Theater Announces Spring and Summer Education Programs


(RED BANK, NJ) -- Two River Theater continues its mission of promoting arts education as a means to both support the artist within each student and to build future audiences. Coming up, Two River will continue to inspire empathy, risk-taking and a sense of adventure, supporting academic achievement and life-long learning through the Howard Aronson Metro Scholars program, Summer Intensives, and their newest endeavor, The ART of Social Justice: Summer Studio. This new program will be a collaboration with Project Write Now and the T. Thomas Fortune Cultural Center.


Inside Paper Mill Playhouse's 2023-24 Season


(MILLBURN, NJ) -- Paper Mill Playhouse (Mark S. New Jersey Theatre Alliance Appoints Career Accelerator Program Fellows


New Jersey Theatre Alliance ("the Alliance"), has announced their inaugural cohort of Career Accelerator Fellows: Amoria Burks, Jamie Goodwin, and Dez Wesley. The three Fellows will participate in a 6-month paid experience comprising placements with professional theatres and the Alliance itself to learn about theatre management in real-world contexts.

RVCC Holocaust Institute to Offer Online Educational Series Focusing on Genocides Around the World


(BRANCHBURG, NJ) -- In commemoration of Genocide Awareness Month, the Institute of Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Raritan Valley Community College will present an online educational series, "Genocide Has No Boundaries," Fridays, April 14, 21 and 28, and May 5, from 10:00am to 11:00am.


Mill Demonstrations to Resume at Historic Walnford


(UPPER FREEHOLD, NJ) -- The Monmouth County Park System has announced that the 19th century gristmill at Historic Walnford, Upper Freehold, will resume its demonstrations starting Saturday, April 1. Held at 12:30pm, 1:30pm, 2:30pm & 3:30pm, these demonstrations show how corn was ground into meal. Lasting approximately 15 minutes each, demonstrations are free and offered on weekends through November.


Princeton Arts Fellows for 2023-2025 Announced


(PRINCETON, NJ) -- Choreographer and director Raja Feather Kelly and musician and interdisciplinary artist eddy kwon have been named Princeton University Arts Fellows for 2023-2025 by the Lewis Center for the Arts and will begin two years of teaching and community collaboration at the University in September.


WBGO Hires First Chief Development Officer, Ondine Landa Abramson


(NEWARK, NJ) -- WBGO has announced the appointment of Ondine Landa Abramson as its first Chief Development Officer, beginning April 3, 2023. Ms. Landa Abramson brings over a decade of experience in fundraising for non-profits and will be an invaluable addition to the team.
