Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Tuesday, July 09, 2024 @ 7:00pm

State Theatre New Jersey
15 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ 08901

Reserve your FREE tickets online.

After years of being sheltered from the human world, the Turtle brothers set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers through heroic acts. Their new friend, April O’Neil (voiced by Ayo Edebiri, The Bear), helps them take on a mysterious crime syndicate.

"[TMNT is] the first entry in the franchise to successfully merge both strands of Turtledom, a creatively engaging animated movie aimed at kids that bubbles with the punkier energy of yore," says The Atlantic.

Cast also includes the voices of Jackie Chan (Rush Hour) as Splinter, Ice Cube (Friday) as Superfly, John Cena (The Suicide Squad) as Rocksteady, Seth Rogen (Pineapple Express) as Bebop, Rose Byrne (Neighbors) as Leatherhead, Micah Abbey as Donatello, Shamon Brown Jr. (The Chi) as Michelangelo, Nicolas Cantu (The Walking Dead: World Beyond) as Leonardo, and Brady Noon (The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers) as Raphael, and Maya Rudolph (Bridesmaids) as Cynthia Utrom.

State Theatre New Jersey's FREE Summer Movies Series features morning and evening weekday screenings. Experience your favorite films on our gigantic 46’ screen, with our state-of-the-art sound system, in our historic renovated theater!

EVENT PREVIEWS

Cléa

Cléa van der Grijn’s surreal feature Elisa in Wonderland has its USA Premiere at the 2025 New Jersey International Film Festival

In 2024, Cléa van der Grijn released her first feature film, The Disembodied Adventures of Alice, a new take on the classic story surrounding Wonderland. A year later, van der Grijn is now releasing another feature that carries heavy references to historical works, Elisa in Wonderland. The film surrounds Elisa, who, upon returning to her ancestral home, grapples with anxiety and other mental health conditions. As the film progresses, her state of health worsens alongside her sense of reality. The film itself is carefully crafted by van der Grijn to deliver this narrative, offering references to historical works of art and poetry to showcase Elisa’s state and her isolation from the world around her.
