Eliza Neals the Detroit born, Jersey based, blues-rocker is back with "Badder To The Bone", her second eye popping blues album in the era of covid. Eliza shines on her own record label & has gained national attention since 2015 on international radio, publications, music festivals, touring and SiriusXM BB Kings Bluesville. 

 

“At first glance, Neals’ voice shares a Janis Joplin and Etta James singing style; but her own unique and tremendous talents make her specifically superior and very, very likable.” Blues Music Magazine

 

Eliza is the protégé’ of Mississippi born, Motown songwriter Barrett Strong (I Heard it Through The Grapevine, Papa Was a Rolling Stone, War, etc.) after discovering her in Detroit, while Eliza attended Wayne State University Music School (BA Music/Opera). Eliza recently won “BLUES ARTIST OF THE YEAR 2018” in the prestigious Detroit Black Music Awards. Fans voted for Eliza Neals, as she won the approval of the esteemed Detroit blues community. Eliza Neals has FIVE trophies in Blues and Rock from the Detroit Music Awards, along with many nominations. The Independent Blues Awards has nominated Eliza for a total of seventeen nominations since its inception.
