Pyrenesia featuring Alex Radus

Friday, September 17, 2021 @ 8:00pm

Hopewell Theater
5 S. Greenwood Avenue, Hopewell, NJ, 08525

Inspired by the music of Django Reinhardt, Pyrenesia is a trio of the Delaware Valley's most skilled musicians, combining original compositions with the tradition of jazz manouche to bring an upbeat, fresh musical perspective.

Their 2019 album “Off-Beat Symphony” was named one of top ten albums of the year by NJ Spotlight and was described as a “feast of eclectic, evocative arrangements and energetic, inspiring improvisations that nod to the Quintette du Hot Club de France in reverence and respect, while forging a delicious path of their own.” Having performed at some of the top festivals and venues in the area, Pyrenesia continues to make musical strides and elevate listeners to a whimsical, melodic place. Click here to purchase/download Pyrenesia's music.

Joining Pyrenesia for this special show is long-time collaborator Alex Radus, a Lehigh and Delaware River Valley musician, whose music draws from across the American songwriting spectrum. Radus has toured the country extensively, recorded multiple albums, and won numerous awards and critical acclaim for his songwriting and performing. Together, Pyrenesia and Radus create a unique polished sound, begging audiences to tap their feet and clap along. Click here to purchase/downloaded Alex's music.
