This 42’ long photographic mural is located on the side facade of nonprofit Project for Empty Space (800 Broad St.), on Edison Pl. in the Four Corners Historic District in downtown Newark, New Jersey.
Applications For 2021 Adirondack Chairs by 48 Blocks Atlantic City; Deadline May 14
(ATLANTIC CITY, NJ) -- 48 Blocks Atlantic City, a program of the Atlantic City Arts Foundation (ACAF), is a citywide arts & cultural celebration that includes Atlantic City’s largest mural arts program. Each year the Special Improvement Division of the CRDA supplies ACAF with a quantity of Adirondack chairs, on which artists may paint, sculpt or otherwise create. They are currently seeking artists to paint, sculpt or otherwise create artistic Adirondack chairs, which will be placed on public view when completed. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. All application materials must be received no later than five o’clock in the evening (5:00pm) EST on May 14, 2021 for consideration.
