Centenary Stage Company's Winter Thaw Festival presents Reverie Road

(HACKETTSTOWN, NJ) -- Centenary Stage Company's Winter Thaw Festival of concerts continues with a performance by Reverie Road on Saturday, January 20 at 8:00pm. The concert will take place at CSC's Sitnik Theatre of the Lackland Performing Arts Center. The band will share their fresh, eclectic celtic combination, featuring fiddler Winifred Horan and accordionist John Williams (founding Solas members) alongside former Gaelic Storm fiddler, Katie Grennan and Jazz and Raga pianist Utsav Lal (Young Steinway Artist). This combination is made up of four of today's leading traditional folk artists who have performed for international audiences from studios to stages over the last three decades.



Brian K & The Parkway releases "Wind The Clock"

(WASHINGTON, DC) -- Brian K. Pagels and Stephen Russ, the DC-area duo that make up Brian K & The Parkway, released their debut single "Wind The Clock" on January 12, 2024. The song, which opens with a lilting guitar riff and drum groove, is a commentary on tribalism and the extreme black and white thinking that has materialized in society today. It offers a means to expel the frustration of it all while expressing a spirit of hope and solidarity with those actively fighting for a better world despite all the forces working against them.



Parkway Central Library of Philadelphia presents screening of "Broken Dreams: The Story of James E. Dupree"

(PHILADELPHIA, PA) -- For Black History Month the Parkway Central Library of Philadelphia at 1901 Vine St is hosting a free documentary film screening of "Broken Dreams: The Story of James E. Dupree" on February 3rd, 2024 at 2:00pm. The screening will be followed by an insightful conversation between Philadelphia artist James E. Dupree, his former assistant Abigail Henry, and one of the directors Tyrone Brown. The documentary highlights artist Dupree's eminent domain battle against the city of Philadelphia from 2012 to 2014.



United Passaic Organization Unveils Food Truck to Combat Food Insecurity in Passaic County on MLK Day

United Passaic Organization (UPO) Chief Executive Officer Dr. Janelle C. Hall embarked on an extensive search for a food truck, courtesy of funding from the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs. The Passaic-based Community Action Agency aimed to procure a food truck to deliver meals directly to individuals facing food insecurity across Passaic County.



Off-Centre Stages presents "Into The Woods" at Kelsey Theatre

(WEST WINDSOR, NJ) -- Generations of favorite storybook characters come together for one stellar production during "Into the Woods," presented by Off-Centre Stages at Mercer County Community College's Kelsey Theatre, January 19-21, 2024. MPAC Announces Free Summer Concert Lineup for 2026

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Mayo Performing Arts Center's Arts in the Community free summer concert schedule for 2026 has been announced. MPAC will present six free concerts between June and August. The lineup includes the return of three of their most popular events – Bollywood Dance Party, Country Line Dancing and Salsa at Sunset, as well as singer-songwriters, and more.

Classic American Tales' presents Tales at the Dormer House every Thursday

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- From June 4 through October 15, 2026 (except for July 2), Classic American Tales (CAT) once more presents Tales at the Dormer House in which guests are treated to lemonade and tasty treats while listening to stories written by noteworthy authors, read by a variety of performers. The schedule is 4:00pm every Thursday at the historic Dormer House Bed and Breakfast (800 Columbia Avenue) in Cape May, NJ. Performances are on the front porch, weather permitting.

Princeton Summer Theater presents "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown"

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- Princeton Summer Theater's 2026 Children's Show is You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, which runs weekends from June 20 to August 1, 2026. A beloved musical since its premiere in 1967, Clark Gesner brings Charles M. Schulz's "PEANUTS" characters to the stage. The musical ventures through the highs and lows of young life, from baseball and homework to young love and friendship. With an empathetic and whimsical eye, You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown reminds us of the importance of connection and joy.

2026-27 Season Preview: Split Level Concerts at Jersey Shore Arts Center

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. The season lineup includes Willie Nile, John Gorka, Dan Bern, Catie Curtis and Band, Stephen Kellogg, Abbie Gardner, Heather Maloney and Band, and Kim Richey. As they have done in prior years, artists from the Asbury Park music scene will open many of the shows.
