Bush – Loaded: The Greatest Hits Tour will kick off on July 26 in Bend, OR and include shows at PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel on August 21 and Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena in Atlantic City on August 23. Jerry Cantrell and Candlebox will be the special guests on all dates. Additional guests will be announced.

(TOMS RIVER, NJ) -- The Grunin Center for the Arts presents a screening of the documentary "Beyond Their Years: The Incredible Legacies of Herb Carnegie and Buck O’Neil" on Thursday, February 29th. The film will be screened at 11:00am and 6:00pm with a panel discussion following the evening screening. The film depicts the compelling story of parallel lives lived by sports and social justice icons Herb Carnegie (hockey) and Buck O'Neil (baseball), who were excluded, because of their race, from competing at the highest professional leagues of the sports they loved.

(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- Grammy-nominated band Sum 41 has announced their last headlining world tour, 'Tour Of The Setting Sum', to celebrate the upcoming release of their final album Heaven :x: Hell. Sum 41 will be making stops in the United States, Japan, Mexico, Germany, Italy, and more before playing their final show as a band in Toronto, Ontario, at Scotiabank Arena on January 30, 2025. Locally, the band comes to The Stone Pony Summer Stage in Asbury Park on May 4th; Brooklyn Paramount in NYC on May 6th; and the Skyline Stage at The Mann in Philadelphia on May 18th.

Bergen County Players (BCP), one of America's longest-running little theater companies, will open its first mainstage production of the new year with a comedic retelling of Jane Austen's great romantic tale Pride and Prejudice. Performances run weekends from February 3-24, 2024 at the Little Firehouse Theatre in Oradell.

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. The season lineup includes Willie Nile, John Gorka, Dan Bern, Catie Curtis and Band, Stephen Kellogg, Abbie Gardner, Heather Maloney and Band, and Kim Richey. As they have done in prior years, artists from the Asbury Park music scene will open many of the shows.

Frank Hanavan's Hoboken is wet. In his streetscapes, surfaces glisten. The sky is rarely glowering, but it does seem full; ready to have something to say, or wrapping up something that it is busy saying. The canopy of foliage that hangs over the streetcorners feels saturated with moisture. Even the shadows on the sidewalk are puddle blue. Businesses have their umbrellas open. A few people do, too.
