Daniel Benedict, who is the Principal Harpist of Symphony in C and is currently attending The Curtis Institute of Music, performs Renié's Harp Concerto on a program alongside Mendelssohn's The Hebrides and Symphony No.1, Op. 11 led by Symphony in C's Music Director, Noam Aviel. Showtime is 8:00pm.
(ATLANTIC CITY, NJ) -- The Atlantic City Arts Foundation has been the driving force behind mural art in Atlantic City since 2017. The public arts nonprofit has created 96 murals, with 80 still intact, throughout the 48 blocks of the city. In 2024, a $248,700 NJEDA grant awarded to the organization will support further promotion and restoration of these important cultural assets.

In it, writers, directors and actors show the audience the economic and social devastation in the country, The heroine of the very upbeat, poignant story is little mop-top Annie, the cute, lovable little girl with the bright, curly red hair who gets taken in by super wealthy Daddy Warbucks, whose fortune puts Donald Trump to shame, after years of living in a dreary, rodents of some kind infested orphanage, run by the equally dreary Miss Hannigan, who gives evil a bad name. The other orphans in the play where Annie lives are the co-heroines of the play.
(PRINCETON, NJ) -- The Arts Council of Princeton (ACP) welcomes Ryan Stark Lilienthal as their latest Anne Reeves Artist-in-Residence. During this short-term residency, running through April 2024, Lilienthal will work closely with Executive Director Adam Welch to dig clay directly from the site of the Paul Robeson House of Princeton, located next door to the Arts Council.
(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Art in the Atrium, Inc. (ATA), a non-profit volunteer arts organization founded in Morris County that champions Black art excellence, returns with its third major exhibition at Mayo Performing Arts Center's Art Upstairs and Starlight Galleries. In its continued partnership with MPAC, ATA presents Traditions and Transitions: Historical to Contemporary Perspectives in Black Art. The exhibit runs now through March 3, 2024.

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. The season lineup includes Willie Nile, John Gorka, Dan Bern, Catie Curtis and Band, Stephen Kellogg, Abbie Gardner, Heather Maloney and Band, and Kim Richey. As they have done in prior years, artists from the Asbury Park music scene will open many of the shows.
Frank Hanavan's Hoboken is wet. In his streetscapes, surfaces glisten. The sky is rarely glowering, but it does seem full; ready to have something to say, or wrapping up something that it is busy saying. The canopy of foliage that hangs over the streetcorners feels saturated with moisture. Even the shadows on the sidewalk are puddle blue. Businesses have their umbrellas open. A few people do, too.
