New Jersey Symphony Presents Tchaikovsky's Fifth Symphony

(NEWARK, NJ) -- The New Jersey Symphony will present Tchaikovsky's beloved Fifth Symphony, conducted by Xian Zhang, in three March performances, Thursday, March 14, 2024 at New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark (1:30pm); Friday, March 15, 2024 at Richardson Auditorium in Princeton (8:00pm); and Sunday, March 17, 2024 at Mayo Performing Arts Center in Morristown (3:00pm).

New Jersey Theatre Alliance to hold 2024 Combined Auditions March 18-19

(HILLSIDE, NJ) -- New Jersey Theatre Alliance (NJTA), the service organization for the state and region's 43 professional theatres, will hold auditions in Enlow Recital Hall on the campus of Kean University in Hillside, NJ on Monday, March 18th from 10:00am-5:00pm for Equity performers, and Tuesday, March 19th from 10:00am-5:00pm for Non-Equity performers. This is a fantastic opportunity to be seen by multiple theatres at once. Representatives from Alliance member theatres will follow up with actors directly if they are interested in working with them.



Westminster Conservatory Faculty Recital Series to present two free children's concerts on Sunday

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- Westminster Conservatory of Music will present Music Makes Me..., an interactive program intended for children ages 10 and under, on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at 2:30pm, with a repeat performance at 4:00pm. The concerts will take place in Hillman Performance Hall in the Marion Buckelew Cullen Music Center, (101 Walnut Lane) in Princeton. It is open to the public free of charge.








Music Mountain Theatre presents "Fun Home"

(LAMBERTVILLE, NJ) -- Music Mountain Theatre (MMT) presents the musical, Fun Home, weekends from February 23 through March 10, 2024. Fun Home, based on the autobiographical graphic novel by Alison Bechdel, has a book with lyrics by Lisa Iron and music by Jeannie Tesori. This is the third mainstage show of MMT's 2024 season.



Vivid Stage's Improv Team presents "Ancient History"

(SUMMIT, NJ) -- Vivid Stage will present its house improv team, The Flip Side, at the Oakes Center on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 8:00pm. MPAC Announces Free Summer Concert Lineup for 2026

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Mayo Performing Arts Center's Arts in the Community free summer concert schedule for 2026 has been announced. MPAC will present six free concerts between June and August. The lineup includes the return of three of their most popular events – Bollywood Dance Party, Country Line Dancing and Salsa at Sunset, as well as singer-songwriters, and more.

Classic American Tales' presents Tales at the Dormer House every Thursday

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- From June 4 through October 15, 2026 (except for July 2), Classic American Tales (CAT) once more presents Tales at the Dormer House in which guests are treated to lemonade and tasty treats while listening to stories written by noteworthy authors, read by a variety of performers. The schedule is 4:00pm every Thursday at the historic Dormer House Bed and Breakfast (800 Columbia Avenue) in Cape May, NJ. Performances are on the front porch, weather permitting.

2026-27 Season Preview: Split Level Concerts at Jersey Shore Arts Center

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. The season lineup includes Willie Nile, John Gorka, Dan Bern, Catie Curtis and Band, Stephen Kellogg, Abbie Gardner, Heather Maloney and Band, and Kim Richey. As they have done in prior years, artists from the Asbury Park music scene will open many of the shows.
