Two River Theater Honored with Prestigious National Theatre Company Grant from American Theatre Wing

(RED BANK, NJ) -- The award-winning Two River Theater has been selected as a recipient of a 2025 National Theatre Company Grant from the American Theatre Wing, recognizing the organization's leading innovative efforts to produce and champion new work by American playwrights. Two River is one of only five theaters nationwide to receive this prestigious grant of $100,000.

Teen Arts New Jersey Awarded Grant Funding to Launch the TANJ Youth Arts Initiative

(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- Teen Arts NJ (TANJ) has been awarded a grant from The New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) under Phase II of the Activation, Revitalization, and Transformation (A.R.T.) program in partnership with The New Jersey State Council on the Arts.



Blues Traveler Expands 2026 Tour

(ATLANTIC CITY, NJ) -- Multi-platinum rock band Blues Traveler are expanding their 2026 touring slate with a new run of headline dates, adding to a banner year that features festival appearances like Bonnaroo and a continuation of their iconic annual Fourth of July show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre — where this year they'll be joined by special guests Better Than Ezra and The Record Company. Collectively, these performances reaffirm the band's enduring dominance as a formidable force on the live music circuit. The tour comes to Atlantic City, Asbury Park, and New York City in August.



March/April 2026 Highlights at MPAC

Chatham Hickory Cinema Chosen to Host Arthouse Film Festival

(CHATHAM, NJ) -- Featuring some of the best soon-to-be-released movies from around the world, Arthouse Film Festival will unspool for ten weeks beginning March 16, 2026 at Chatham Hickory Cinema. The selected films comprise award winners from Sundance, Cannes, Toronto, Telluride, Venice and SXSW film festivals, along with prestige studio films, screened in Chatham before their New York theatrical release dates.



"The Startup" to have Workshop Production at The Flea Theater

(NEW YORK, NY) -- The Flea Theater hosts workshop productions of The Startup from April 1-19, 2026. The Startup is a comedic new musical that follows Chip Cooper, the optimistic CEO of a rising tech company, and his idealistic team as they scramble to save their business when funding runs dry. NJPAC presents a Spring Season of Jazz

(NEWARK, NJ) -- New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) presents a Spring Season of Jazz with free monthly jazz jams at Clement's Place and two special concert events inside the Victoria Theater. This series, running from September through June, is co-presented by NJPAC's Jazz Advisory Committee and Rutgers University–Newark's Institute of Jazz Studies (IJS). PBS' Independent Lens Launches 20th Season of Free Pop-Up Screening Series in Teaneck and Nationwide

(TEANECK, NJ) -- The award-winning PBS documentary series, INDEPENDENT LENS, presents the launch of the upcoming season of Indie Lens Pop-Up in partnership with the Teaneck International Film Festival and the Puffin Cultural Forum. The season kicks-off on February 4, 2026 with The Librarians and continues through May. The series is free for all but sign up is required.

State Theatre New Jersey presents The Sound Studio Series 2026

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- State Theatre New Jersey proudly presents The Sound Studio Series, an immersive musical experience that places concertgoers at the very heart of the performance. Held in STNJ's intimate Studio space, limited to just 80 attendees, The Sound Studio Series features a dynamic mix of both classical and rock performances.
