Tickets on sale for Teaneck International Film Festival 2024 films

(TEANECK, NJ) -- The 19th annual Teaneck International Film Festival is just a month away, and tickets are on sale now at www.teaneckfilmfestival.org, with a link to Eventbrite. The price is $10 in advance and $15 at the door, except for the Centerpiece, for which a $40 ticket must be purchased in advance.

The Second Annual Bread & Roses Film Festival to Showcase Women Filmmakers

(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- The Second Annual Bread & Roses Film Festival, Jersey Shore’s only female-centric film festival, is set to return to Asbury Park from October 18-20, 2024. Bread & Roses will showcase 30 films by women, from 9 different countries, featuring narrative and documentary feature and short films, as well as animation, experimental, and music videos.

Newark Arts and Russo Development to Celebrate the Grand Opening of "Newark Artspace" on Thursday

(NEWARK, NJ) -- Newark Arts and Russo Development will celebrate the official grand opening of "Newark ArtSpace" at Vermella Broad Street on Thursday, October 10, 2024. Coinciding with the Newark Arts Festival, the gallery is the first-ever space that Newark Arts operates on a year-round basis and provides a dedicated home to the city’s vibrant culture of local and regional artists. The event will feature new art from Newark Arts' "Radical Reimagining" exhibition and feature works of over twenty artists, curated by Armisey Smith. Their art will remain on display until December 1st.



Next Live Episode of "Gemstones," a Vivid Stage Original Series, to take place October 23-24

(SUMMIT, NJ) -- Vivid Stage, in residence at Oakes Center at 120 Morris Avenue in Summit, is celebrating its 30th Anniversary season, marking decades of bringing contemporary theatre to audiences in the state of New Jersey. Coming up is the second episode of the original series, Gemstones, by Phoebe Farber. Episode 2 runs Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at 2:00pm and Thursday, October 24, 2024 at 8:00pm.



Wharton Performing Arts School Hosts Annual Fall Festival on October 25th

(BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ) -- The Wharton Performing Arts School (PAS) invites the public to the 2024 Annual Fall Festival & Suzuki Halloween Playdown on Friday, October 25, 2024 from 4:30pm-8:00pm at 60 Locust Avenue in Berkeley Heights. The festival, featuring free ice cream from the Scream Truck, drum circle, costume contest, games and more, will take place from 4:30pm-6:30pm on the Performing Arts School front lawn. The Fall Festival will be followed by the Suzuki Violin Playdown at 7:00pm in the Wharton Black Box Theater. The community is invited to wear their Halloween costumes and enjoy music performances, treats, and spooky festivities.



Hugh Jackman's "From New York, With Love" Shows to Take Place at Radio City Music Hall

(NEW YORK, NY) -- Hugh Jackman, the Academy Award® nominated and Tony, GRAMMY and Golden Globe winning performer, announced an exciting series of 24 performances at Radio City Music Hall. These special shows will kick off the weekend of January 24, 2025, and will continue through select weekends in April, May, June, July, August, September with the final shows on October 3-4, 2025.

Performances will run May 26 through June 26, 2026, with 150 seats available.

Arden Theatre Company presents "Dear Evan Hansen"

(PHILADELPHIA, PA) -- Arden Theatre Company brings the Tony Award-winning musical, Dear Evan Hansen, to the F. Otto Haas Stage this spring. Featuring a book by Steven Levenson and music and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, the production is directed by Terrence J. Nolen and co-conceived by Jorge Cousineau and Nolen. Performances begin May 21, the show opens May 27, and runs through July 5, 2026.

Paper Mill Playhouse presents "West Side Story"

(MILLBURN, NJ) -- Paper Mill Playhouse presents West Side Story, the final production of Paper Mill's 2025-2026 season, from May 28 through June 28, 2026. An enduring masterpiece based on a conception of Jerome Robbins, West Side Story reimagines Romeo and Juliet in 1950s New York, where young lovers Tony and Maria dare to dream of a future together as rival gangs the Jets and the Sharks clash for control of the streets.

MPAC Announces Free Summer Concert Lineup for 2026

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Mayo Performing Arts Center's Arts in the Community free summer concert schedule for 2026 has been announced. MPAC will present six free concerts between June and August. The lineup includes the return of three of their most popular events – Bollywood Dance Party, Country Line Dancing and Salsa at Sunset, as well as singer-songwriters, and more.

In this electrifying and deeply personal play, she revisits that teenage self to explore how the U.S. Constitution has shaped her life — and how it continues to shape all of ours.
