New Release Review - "Sew Torn"

Movies about super intelligent characters often fail to convince because they're clearly not made by super intelligent filmmakers who possess the ability to think as smartly as their fictional creations. Sew Torn is a comic thriller about a very smart and resourceful young woman, and it works because its first time writer/director, Freddy Macdonald, is clearly a mad genius himself. It's not often I find myself thinking "that's something I haven't seen before" while watching a new movie, but it's a thought that crossed my mind at several points in Macdonald's debut, which is an expansion of his 2019 short of the same name.

Jonas Brothers to be Inducted into New Jersey Hall of Fame

(NEWARK, NJ) -- /PRNewswire/ -- The Jonas Brothers will be officially inducted into the New Jersey Hall of Fame this fall. Eli Manning, former New York Giants quarterback and New Jersey Hall of Fame inductee, announced the news to thousands of Jonas Brothers fans gathered at JONASCON at American Dream on March 23, 2025. The pop rock band from Wyckoff, New Jersey, will be formally inducted into the New Jersey Hall of Fame at the 17th Annual Induction Ceremony. The Class of 2025, the ceremony date, and location will be announced in June.








Mercer County Announces 2025 Summer Concert Series with New Season Pass

(WEST WINDSOR, NJ) -- Mercer County Executive Dan Benson announced that the Mercer County Park Commission's Summer Concert Series will kick off its 2025 season on July 11. The popular Friday evening concerts continue to be a bargain at just $5 per-ticket, with the addition of a new limited-time season pass option access to all concerts for just $25.

NJPAC adds third show for comedian Mojo Brookz

(NEWARK, NJ) -- A third show featuring the hilarious Mojo Brookz has been added to the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) due to overwhelming demand.
