One of them, Chuck Redd, will be bringing his vibes to the Madison (NJ) Community Arts Center, on Sunday, April 6, 2025, in a return engagement with pianist John DiMartino. The Phantom of the Opera is there, inside the Skylands Museum of Art! For those of us familiar with the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, it may be difficult not to sing that first line. However, the story of Erik, the eponymous phantom of the opera, did not begin on the stage, nor the screen, but rather on the pages of French author Gaston Leroux’s 1909 novel "Le Fantôme de l'Opéra."
