(PHILADELPHIA, PA) -- Philadelphia-based theater company The Wilma Theater has announced four bold, boundary-pushing productions for its 2025- 26 season. Audiences can look forward to the theater's first-ever all-ages production, a return of a popular dance-theater cabaret show, and back-to-back plays by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwrights. Additionally, the Wilma is offering more chances to witness works and progress as they’re developed from the page to the stage through limited presentations.
(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- Registration is now open for East Lynne Theater Company's annual Youth Theater Camp for kids ages 11 to 17. The two-week camp takes place July 14-18 and 21-24, and culminates with a live performance on July 25. All levels are welcome; no previous experience is required.
Jacob Tremont has made a name for himself in the indie underground, known for his cinematic songwriting and raw, poetic voice. With a style that blends '90s alt-rock, modern folk, and lo-fi elements, Tremont's sound is often likened to icons like Elliott Smith, Bright Eyes, and Pavement. As a regular figure in New York and New Jersey's DIY music scenes, he's built a reputation for his emotionally resonant songs and captivating live performances.
"Reese Wynans, I came to know him when he joined Stevie Ray Vaughn and Double Trouble and then after Stevie Ray Vaughn was killed, he played with a lot of people but for the last few years he's primarily toured with Joe Bonamassa. He's an amazing keyboard player and a super guy. I didn't know him prior to working on this record but my friend Mark Prentice who produced it with me suggested we bring him in and it was a perfect call."
(RED BANK, NJ) — There's something wonderful about seeing an Arthur Miller play performed on stage. I don't think any playwright ever connected with families and the internal drama within family relations like Miller did. One such example is The Price, which Two River Theater is presenting through June 29, 2025. It's a play rarely performed in the area, but the production directed by Brandon J. Dirden is highly recommended and furthers the powerful theme that runs through so many of Miller's works.
(RUTHERFORD, NJ) -- After a four-year-long production process, filmmaker and New Jersey native, David Joseph Volino, is sharing the full-length feature, Wayward Kin, with local audiences. See the film for one night only at The Williams Center in Rutherford on Wednesday, July 23, 2025. The screening begins at 7:00pm with the cast and crew in attendance.
Don Giovanni Records is thrilled to welcome Storey Littleton to the roster. A Brooklyn-based songwriter, Storey grew up on the road with her family band Ida, performing in libraries, dive bars, and everywhere in between. Now stepping further into her own voice, she marks the beginning of this new chapter with the release of "At a Diner" — her debut single for the label.

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- Princeton Summer Theater's 2026 Children's Show is You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, which runs weekends from June 20 to August 1, 2026. A beloved musical since its premiere in 1967, Clark Gesner brings Charles M. Schulz's "PEANUTS" characters to the stage. The musical ventures through the highs and lows of young life, from baseball and homework to young love and friendship. With an empathetic and whimsical eye, You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown reminds us of the importance of connection and joy.
(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. The Makin Waves Song of the Week is "Body Cast," the latest video from the North Jersey dynamic duo Tiny Cities.
"Very well; and you? We're hoping you can come to The Lizzie Rose on Friday July 31; come as our guest, come enjoy the racket, it's a wonderful room to play," laughed the always jovial Conrad Warre of the Boston based blues/rock band Bees Deluxe as he discussed that upcoming Tuckerton show, their stop at Jamey's House of Music, their upcoming new record, the International Blues Challenge and more.
Frank Hanavan's Hoboken is wet. In his streetscapes, surfaces glisten. The sky is rarely glowering, but it does seem full; ready to have something to say, or wrapping up something that it is busy saying. The canopy of foliage that hangs over the streetcorners feels saturated with moisture. Even the shadows on the sidewalk are puddle blue. Businesses have their umbrellas open. A few people do, too.
