The Acting Company presents a Benefit Reading of "Love's Labour's Won" by Alice Scovell

(NEW YORK, NY) -- The Acting Company is proud to announce Loves’ Labour's Won, a hilarious Shakespearean sequel by Alice Scovell, staged by Award-winning director Brian Isaac Phillips. The all-star cast features Steven Boyer, Christian Conn, Ismenia Mendes, and Sarah Stiles. The one-night only play reading will take place on Monday, September 15, 2025 at 7:00pm at The Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College (68th Street between Park and Lexington Avenues). All proceeds from the event will benefit The Acting Company.



The Presbyterian Church at Bound Brook Announces Four Concerts

(BOUND BROOK, NJ) -- The Presbyterian Church at Bound Brook presents a concert series with four concerts from September to June 2026. Performances include Hiroya Tsukamoto on guitar in September; Benjamin T. Berman on organ in December; Thomas Rodgers on organ in March; and a celebration of choral music and music by Mozart in June.



Registration Open for NJPAC's TD JAZZ FOR TEENS 2025-26 Education Program

(NEWARK, NJ) -- The New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC), the state's anchor cultural institution, celebrates 28 years of offering thousands of high schoolers from Newark and beyond music lessons and performance experiences through its popular TD Jazz for Teens program. One of the first of many arts education institutions at NJPAC, it has grown into a nationally recognized and revered program producing stellar alumni such as MacArthur "Genius" Fellow Tyshawn Sorey. The 2025-26 school year is about to begin and is now accepting students for both the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters. Registration is now open and closes September 29.

Andy Bell (of Erasure) to Tour North America, including shows in NYC and Red Bank

(RED BANK, NJ) -- After hugely successful tours of the UK and Europe, Andy Bell will be embarking on his first ever solo tour of North America. His album, Ten Crowns, released in May of this year, marked a magisterial moment in his forty-year career, and reconfirms that he is one of the great pop vocalists of our time. Travelling into new dimensions and possibilities with gospel in his heart and dance in his soul clearly suits him. Locally, the tour comes to the Gramercy Theatre in NYC for shows October 23-25 and The Vogel in Red Bank on October 31, 2025.

MPAC Announces Free Summer Concert Lineup for 2026

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Mayo Performing Arts Center's Arts in the Community free summer concert schedule for 2026 has been announced. MPAC will present six free concerts between June and August. The lineup includes the return of three of their most popular events – Bollywood Dance Party, Country Line Dancing and Salsa at Sunset, as well as singer-songwriters, and more.

Classic American Tales' presents Tales at the Dormer House every Thursday

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- From June 4 through October 15, 2026 (except for July 2), Classic American Tales (CAT) once more presents Tales at the Dormer House in which guests are treated to lemonade and tasty treats while listening to stories written by noteworthy authors, read by a variety of performers. The schedule is 4:00pm every Thursday at the historic Dormer House Bed and Breakfast (800 Columbia Avenue) in Cape May, NJ. Performances are on the front porch, weather permitting.

2026-27 Season Preview: Split Level Concerts at Jersey Shore Arts Center

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. The season lineup includes Willie Nile, John Gorka, Dan Bern, Catie Curtis and Band, Stephen Kellogg, Abbie Gardner, Heather Maloney and Band, and Kim Richey. As they have done in prior years, artists from the Asbury Park music scene will open many of the shows.
