Set in New York City on the Brink of a New Millennium, "The Boys From Kingsbridge" Makes Its NY Premiere

(NEW YORK, NY) -- Set in New York City on the brink of a new millennium, the New York Premiere of The Boy From Kingsbridge captures the grit and energy of 1999. Written by Steven Sarao, the two-hander stars James Lorinz and Sarao as childhood friends who grow up to become NYPD officers. Directed by Anna Rebek, the play runs for seven performances from August 27 through September 5, 2025 as part of the Dream Up Festival at Theater for the New City.

There comes a time in every British actress's career where they trade period frocks for black roots and henna tattoos to portray a member of the American working class. Vanessa Kirby's time for this rite of passage has arrived with Night Always Comes, which sees her reteam with The Crown director Benjamin Caron. Kirby may have left the palace but she's in a right royal mess in this film, which mashes together the "one crazy night" format of movies like After Hours and Collateral with an Uncut Gems/Small World of Sammy Lee-esque story of a desperate attempt to gather a sum of money in a limited window.

Classical Cape May Announces 2025-2026 Season

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- Classical Cape May has announced their 2025-2026 season in which they expand to seven months of concerts. Cape May MAC is again sponsoring the season; their donation covers the fees that are paid to the artists. All Classical Cape May programs are free and take place at the Episcopal Church of the Advent, Franklin and Washington Street in Cape May. Concerts are one hour long with a reception afterwards for the audience to meet the artists.

MPAC Announces Free Summer Concert Lineup for 2026

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Mayo Performing Arts Center's Arts in the Community free summer concert schedule for 2026 has been announced. MPAC will present six free concerts between June and August. The lineup includes the return of three of their most popular events – Bollywood Dance Party, Country Line Dancing and Salsa at Sunset, as well as singer-songwriters, and more.

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- From June 4 through October 15, 2026 (except for July 2), Classic American Tales (CAT) once more presents Tales at the Dormer House in which guests are treated to lemonade and tasty treats while listening to stories written by noteworthy authors, read by a variety of performers. The schedule is 4:00pm every Thursday at the historic Dormer House Bed and Breakfast (800 Columbia Avenue) in Cape May, NJ. Performances are on the front porch, weather permitting.

2026-27 Season Preview: Split Level Concerts at Jersey Shore Arts Center

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. The season lineup includes Willie Nile, John Gorka, Dan Bern, Catie Curtis and Band, Stephen Kellogg, Abbie Gardner, Heather Maloney and Band, and Kim Richey. As they have done in prior years, artists from the Asbury Park music scene will open many of the shows.
