Raise a Glass for A Great Cause: Wine on the Waterfront 2025 to take place Saturday at Washington Crossing Historic Park

(WASHINGTON CROSSING, PA) -- The Friends of Washington Crossing Park will be hosting Wine on the Waterfront this Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 1112 River Road in Washington Crossing, PA. The event is back in its eighth year, taking place on the scenic banks of the Delaware River from 3:00pm to 7:00pm. It features picnic fare paired with wine samples from top local vineyards and live jazz.



American Theater Group Seeks Video Auditions from NJ Drama Teachers for production of "Our Town"

(UNION, NJ) -- American Theater Group (ATG) is seeking video audition submissions from NJ drama and music teachers (and related staff) for its upcoming production of the Pulitzer Prize-winning Our Town by Thornton Wilder. The production will feature professional actors in main roles as well as a select number of arts teachers from around the state in supporting roles as townsfolk.



Vivid Stage Announces a Season of Premieres and Fresh Takes

(SUMMIT, NJ) -- Vivid Stage, in residence at Oakes Center in Summit, is excited to announce a season of world premieres and unique experiences in 2025-2026. Two mainstage productions will be new works, contemporary plays that use both comedy and drama to dive into today's world and how we are living in it. A photograph of a house tells us something important about the photographer. She's not inside it. A painter, a sculptor, or a printmaker can work from memory. She can sketch a building from the street, unlock the door, and render a picture of the exterior from a studio on the interior. The photographer doesn't have that flexibility. For her, creation of a work of art implies separation from her subject. Maybe that's why photographers always feel like outsiders.

State Arts Council Approves Over $29 Million in Grants, Welcomes New Board Member

(TRENTON, NJ) -- The New Jersey State Council on the Arts awarded more than $29 million in grants to support nearly 1,000 arts organizations, projects, and artists throughout the state. The grants were approved on July 22, 2025 at the Council's 59th Annual Meeting in Trenton, which featured a special performance by Hadassah Broughton, the 2025 NJ Poetry Out Loud State Champion.



The Masterworks Choir presents "Singing Hearts"

(OCEAN CITY, NJ) -- The Masterworks Choir presents "Singing Hearts," featuring works by Rutter, Chilcott, Consolacion, Nestor, Vaughan Williams, Bernstein, Copland and more, with a special performance by The Masterworks Summer Bell Choir, on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at St. Peter’s United Methodist Church. State Theatre New Jersey presents The Sound Studio Series 2026

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- State Theatre New Jersey proudly presents The Sound Studio Series, an immersive musical experience that places concertgoers at the very heart of the performance. Held in STNJ's intimate Studio space, limited to just 80 attendees, The Sound Studio Series features a dynamic mix of both classical and rock performances. Each concert concludes with an exclusive post-show meet-and-greet with the artists, offering fans a rare opportunity to connect directly with the performers. Tickets for the series are $20-$30.

Arden Children's Theatre presents "The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales"

(PHILADELPHIA, PA) -- This spring, Arden Children's Theatre invites families into a hilariously twisted world where classic fairy tales don't go quite as expected in its next production of the 2025/26 season, The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales (The Stinky Cheese Man). Based on the beloved book by Jon Scieszka and Lane Smith, adapted by John Glore, the production brings the book's fractured fairy tales to life for kids and adults alike. Directed by Steve Pacek, the production runs on the Arden’s Arcadia stage with previews starting April 8, opening night on April 18, with performances running through May 31.

Haddon Township to Hold 4th Annual String Band Parade

(HADDON TOWNSHIP, NJ) -- The Camden County Board of Commissioners, along with Haddon Township, invites residents and visitors to the fourth annual String Band Parade down Haddon Ave, featuring the Philadelphia Mummers String Bands on Saturday, May 30, 2026 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. (note: it was rescheduled from April 25th due to the weather)

Hitchcock Meets Hilarious: Bergen County Players presents "The 39 Steps"

(ORADELL, NJ) -- Fresh off being named the top live music or theater venue by 201 Magazine's "Best of Bergen" readers, Bergen County Players (BCP) invites audiences to brace themselves for a whirlwind of espionage and outrageous comedy with the Tony Award-winning The 39 Steps, which runs weekends from May 2-31, 2026. Directed by BCP life member Steve Bell, this breakneck adaptation of Alfred Hitchcock's 1935 film classic blends film noir suspense with Monty Python-style absurdity.
